This is a build that I've tested at a local FNM and took first with one loss. I think it has real potential...

Your curve seems horrible to me.
Prior to turn 3, all you can do is Path, Elite Vanguard or Honor. Not much of a D if you ask me.
Turn 3, you either Spectral or Cavalier.
Turn 4 gets bulky with Seraph, Ajani, and Elspeth.
Turn 5 Baneslayer, Cloudgoat
Turn 6 Captain if you've survived.
All that counts on actually getting the mana you need.
Personally this is what I would do.
MB:
-2 Baneslayer Angel (SB :you got better things to be doing than gaining life)
-3 Guardian Seraph (SB : Anti-Faeries)
+4 Kitchen Finks (2-for-1 usually ; life gain just a boost)
-1 Plains
-1 Cloudgoat Ranger
+3 Knight of the Meadowgrain
SB:
Choose either Silence or Ethersworn Canonist.
