The Vaizard sat on one of the many branches that was in the forest. Her legs dangled several feet from off the ground. A sigh escaped her lips as her golden eyes watched the birds and other wildlife go on about their life in their habitat. Their cries lingered through her ears as she rested her head against the tree. She was waiting on someone. A friend. And she was wondering what was taking her so long...

Angela appeared on a branch a few feet above Yomi with a faint static sound. "Did you miss me?" She giggled slightly. "Sorry to keep you waiting, I hope I wasn't too long." She smiled and jumped down onto Yomi's branch. "You can take the first move." Another giggle escaped her as she disappeared, leaving a small lingering static sound. She appeared about 10 yards away. "Ready when you are."

Yomiko slowly looked up at the branch above her, no emotion was displayed on her face. She just stared at the arrancar. Some times Yomiko thought that she always arrived late on purpose, just to peeve her. A small sigh came from Yomiko as her friend appeared before her, telling her to make the first move. Usually, that wasn't much of her style since she was more of a defensive fighter than anything. Angela knew that. As soon as she vanished, Yomiko vanished as well. In a flash, Yomiko reappeared behind the arrancar. Her blade unsheathed and by her side. She knew this was a predictable move, but she just wanted to warm up. Quite frankly she hadn't fought in a while. This was going to be good practice. Quickly, she raised her blade and proceeded to make a slash towards Angela's right shoulder blade.

Angela didn't even bother to move, just letting the sword collide with her. The blade was stopped by her Hierro. "Yomi-channnnnnn." A slight whine to the n's she added. "You forget my Hierro is quite strong." She smiled as she grabbed the blade in her hand and used it to pull Yomiko into a throw over her shoulder and in front of her.

 Once the blade collided with her steel skin, Yomiko frowned a bit once she was reminded that she had Hierro. Oddly enough, Yomiko never even visioned her friend as an arrancar. Her different personality often made that vision foggy. She let out a short sigh before she whispered huskily under her breath. "You do know how to push my buttons, don't you?" She asked as Angela took a grip to her blade. A smirk appeared on her face as she flipped over Angela's shoulder, via her blade. When she softly landed on her feet infront of her, however, that grin grew wider.
"Prossimo a me... La dea di inferno...Persephone..." Yomiko's Odachi began to glow a crimson colour around the blade. The steel of the blade began to dissipate until there was nothing left but the guard and hilt. At this moment, Yomiko took the initiative to shunpo elsewhere while her blade undertook it's transformation. The woman appeared high on a tree branch, several feet higher from where Angela was. Her blade was now in the form of a long, flat ivory whip. Obsidian flames flickered hungrily at the tip of it.
It was then that Yomiko positioned herself in a crouching position, licking her lips. The woman stared down at Angela, placing her whip in front of her. She pushed herself off the branch, propelling herself towards Angela. The flames on the end of the whip grew wilder and wilder by the moment as Yomiko whispered. "Fiamma nera a mezzaluna..." As she slashed through the air, three wide crescents of scorching Obsidian Flame came towering towards the arrancar.

Angela frowned. "Yomiiiiii-Oneeeeee-channnnn, did you have to get so violent so fast?" She whined as the crescent blades of flame headed towards her. She at last unsheathed her sword. The sword began to glow red as Angela held it horizontal in front of her chest. "Cero." A wide red blast shot forward and intercepted the flames. For the most part the impact stopped the flames, however small embers rained down towards Angela from what were once the three crescent blades of flame. With a swing from her sword the small embers were blown off course and landed among trees.

Yomiko grinned a bit as Angela intercepted her flames with her Cero. For the most part, she just ignored her friend as she mentioned about her tendency to become quickly violent, especially now. It was all the influence of her Zanpaku-to, who has the same tendencies as well. Yomiko would've responded to this comment with a sly one, but she did not. With a purse of her lips, the woman landed in a crouching position on the cool tropical grass with a small thud. The woman stood up, with a slight frown. She shot a glare at the arrancar. "This isn't much of a spar if you just... don't fight back. Whaattt? Are you giving me a 'break' because I am 'old'?" Yomiko asked her teasingly with a grin. Taking a step back, she just shook her head. "Fight back! It's more fun that way!"

Angela smiled politely. "I was simply seeing what you could still do in your old age." As she finished her sentence she appeared directly in front of the Vizard bring her sword forward for a jab in the stomach, disappearing before the shot would have either hit or been blocked. She then appeared to the left of Yomi with her sword in a reverse grip, she was slightly crouched so as she threw her fist forward it was aimed for the lower part of Yomi's rib cage.

Yomiko did not even bother to pull a facial expression to reply to then arrancar's comment. Needless banter about her age wasn't called for and Angela knew it. The polite smile that she gave her bothered her a bit, but she kept her expression the same. The Vaizard slid her right foot back a bit as Angela appeared in front of her. Anticipating her moves, Yomiko took her free hand, to block her attack, but before she could the woman moved again. Wherever she was going to move, she wasn't going to stay in her spot for long. Knowing most people, they would either appear behind her. Honestly, she did not want to be an open target. With a grin tugging her lips, she shunpo'd the fastest she could only to initiate the Utsusemi technique, which left a very believable afterimage in her place. The fake Yomiko just stood there, like the real Yomiko before, quite oblivious to what was currently going on. Yomiko shunpo'd stealthily in the trees above her. Yomiko sat ontop of a tree branch, slowly channeling her reiatsu into her hand before he shunpo'd to another area of the forest so that she could watch Angela, but be hidden as well. The woman crouched down in that cat-like pose once more, her hand emitting a golden glow as Angela landed her hit on the 'fake' Yomiko. As soon as the illusion disappeared, Yomiko took this as the initiative to strike. She outstretched it towards Angela.
"Hyapporankan...," The Vaizard whispered as a very large beam of reitsu shot straight towards Angela. Slowly, the beam of light started to break apart into more thinner rods that were intended to pin the arrancar down or to a tree. It didn't matter at this point. With another quick strokes of shunpo, Yomiko appeared several feet in the air above where Angela was stationed. "Raikoho...," Another heavy whisper under her breath ensued as she held out the same hand she used for the other spell. A faint, yellow tinge of reiatsu coated her hand. Moments later, a wide blast of her reiatsu shot towards Angela quickly. It was then that Yomiko disappeared once more into the trees of the forest.

Angela frowned as three rods slammed into her left arm and part of her side. Pinning her arm to her side. "Yomi-onee-Chan!" She whined slightly towards her friend. A frown crossed her face as she felt the reiatsu accumulate above her. She tossed her sword up in the air and raised her right arm pointing her index finger at Yomiko. Three thick red beams swirled inwards towards the center of her finger. A Tri-focused Cero which she simply used to accelerate the rate to full charge a Cero instead of increasing its power. She grinned as she fired the cero into the air towards Yomiko's Kidou. The two completely canceled each other out. Angela then disappeared, moving up to the level of her sword, catching it with the arm that wasn't pinned to her side. She then disappeared again, moving directly behind Yomiko with her sword glowing bright red. With a grin she slashed the sword horizontally and shot off the cero in a wide arc at the same time.

Yomiko frowned a bit when Angela appeared behind her as she went through the forest. Jumping through various tree branches, she tried to make more room between her and Angela. Did she really get this slow after all of these years? Well, one year but still. She gritted her teeth as she turned her head to look back at Angela, who was right at her heels. The sword that glowed crimson worried Yomiko. An attack this close?! She couldn't possibly block something this close without getting hurt herself. That grin on Angela's face worried her even more. Yomiko knew that she didn't have time to worry, she needed to act. "Danku--" Yomiko uttered out the phrase completely quickly, not even mustering out enough reiatsu to complete the spell. A Makeshift shield wasn't strong enough to block the crimson cero from aiming straight towards Yomiko. The powerful energy pounding into the Vaizards back caused her to lose her balance and ultimately fall down through the trees.

"Yomi-onee-chan! Your getting sloppy!" She shouted in a childish tone. She then disappeared again. This time she was in front of Yomi, with her sword sheathed. She smiled sweetly at her old friend. "I'm sorry old woman, I didn't mean to hurt you. At least not this soon in the fight!" She laughed and was gone again. This time she was standing on the ground about thirty feet in front of Yomiko, her sword once again unsheathed.
