Midori-Chi Sushi is a sushi bar just a few blocks off campus. It's within walking distance, so many students go there to hang out after classes to eat the sushi. It's not a high price and the chefs are well-seasoned, so it's a popular spot.

Mizuku and Emiel finally reached the building, and Mizuku held the door open for the blond. "Here it is," he said with a polite smile. When they were inside, he looked around. The ordering counter was about 6 feet in front of them, with the pickup and paying counter a little to the left of that. The sushi ingredients were behind the glass of the counter, and it reminded Mizuku slightly of an ice cream shop. Apparently, there was premade sushi as well... "What kind of sushi do you want to try?" he asked Emiel. But Emiel, being a foreigner, probably didn't know many, if any, kinds of sushi.

Emiel looked around, a sparkling fascination in his eyes. "U-uh..." it was kind of overwhelming to him, having never been in a sushi shop or tried sushi. "...Can you pick for me?" he asked with a nervous smile. "I don't like spicy things, just for the info." he added.

"Is that so?" Mizuku inquired with a smile. "I love spicy stuff. So I guess the temaki's off the list..." He looked around at the contents of the glass counter, his eyes wide. Looking up at a menu on the wall, he read the list of items carefully. "Maybe you could try the tekka maki..." he said absently. "Or shrimp roll, or maybe hamachi." He was having quite a bit of fun with this. "What of those sounds the best to you?" He laughed. Emiel probably wouldn't know, but it would be fun to have him guess. Maybe they'd get a sampler of a few things...

"E-eh...I guess the shrimp rolls sound good, or hamachi. You choose..." Emiel said with uncertainty. Ah, decision making, not his strong suite. "I haven't had any of it so its really all up to you." he smiled and looked at all of the sushi ingredients through the glass. Everything here looked so interesting to him, but it was probably more that he was fascinated with new places more than the fact that he'd never been to a sushi shop.

Mizuku laughed. "Let's get a few of each, then," he said, squeezing Emiel's hand and walking up to the ordering counter. When asked what they wanted by a very stereotypical-looking Japanese sushi-maker (complete with a hachimaki!), Mizuku hummed. "I think we'll take two shrimp rolls, two hamachi, two tekka maki, and..." he thought for a moment, "and one temaki. That'll be it." The sushi maker prepared the sushi and put it in a sushi box, handing it to Mizuku and pointing the two toward the paying counter.
Mizuku walked a few steps to the left and payed for the sushi. "Thanks," he said with a wink to the young lady at the cash register, who was looking quite flirtatiously at Mizuku. He just laughed quietly to himself and led Emiel to a table. "So which are you going to try first?" he asked.

Emiel put his index finger on his chin while he went deep into thought. "Surprise me." he said looking at the bag. All of it looked pretty similar, even though he knew each one had a different taste. He'd probably try all of them by the end of the meal, even just a bight, so he didn't really mind which came first.

Mizuku chuckled. "Okay, then," he said, opening up the black plastic box and taking out one of the shrimp rolls. "Try this." He handed it to Emiel, smiling the whole time. This was the first time Mizuku'd ever seen anyone try their first sushi. He took the one temaki out of the box himself, and took a bite, anticipating the spiciness. Once it hit him, though he took a sharp breath in. "Whooooo," he breathed. "That's hot." He licked his lips and took another breath, setting down the spicy sushi. "Try yours," he said with a smile.

Emiel took the shrimp roll and looked at it cautiously. "Mmkay, here I go...!" and with that, he brought the sushi up to his mouth and bit half of the roll off. He chewed it and swallowed, a smile spreading across his face. "Its pretty good." he said nodding his head and then eating the rest of the roll. It wasn't the best thing he'd ever tasted, but he was pretty sure sushi was an acquired taste. In time, he was sure he'd come to like even more.

Mizuku picked up his temaki and took another little bite, breathing hard to try and cool off his mouth. He chewed it quickly and swallowed it. "Mmm," he hummed happily. "Do you want to try the temaki?" He laughed. He doubted Emiel would want to try it, and it would be mean to make him. He smiled wide. This was a pretty good time. It didn't seem like Emiel liked the sushi very much, but maybe foreigners just wouldn't like it as much as a local who'd been eating sushi his whole life.

Emiel winced at Mizuku's response to the spicy temaki. "No thank you..." he answered quickly. He didn't like spicy food because he didn't have a very good tolerance for it. He picked up a hamachi and took a small bite out of it. "I've been thinking, Mizuku..." he said after swallowing his bite. "...We should probably go see Koji." the room seemed awfully silent to Emiel then, but it was true. They did need to talk to Koji, he deserved to know what was going on.

Mizuku smiled when Emiel gave him such a quick response, but the next thing that the blond said made his skin crawl for a bit. He finished off the temaki and blinked a few times. "I..." he said quietly. "I guess we should." He swallowed a small lump he felt in his throat. He'd felt beyond horrible the day he broke up with Koji. He didn't want to make the poor boy hurt any more, which talking to him would surely do. But they couldn't leave Koji in the dark, and it was better that the two themselves told him...

Emiel nodded. There was a little ordinary conversation here and there after that, but nothing to special. They finished their food and left the restaurant holding hands.
