Popular Asian singer BoA, 22, held a recording session with the controversial Senegalese producer-rapper Akon on his upcoming release titled "Freedom+2."
Sankei Sports reported yesterday the Korean pop star sang a duet with Akon on the track titled "Beautiful" for the album to be released on Aug. 5.
They met while performing at April's Spring Groove 2009 music festival in Tokyo.
Akon was cited as saying that the produced a great track together because BoA has a really cute voice and that he would love to perform with her live on stage.
