このフォラムは主に日本語だけで話すためです。初学者も出来るのがほしいんですから、英語も書いております。そして、もし良くないことを気づいたら、(文法とか)必ず正しいことを教えてください!
This forum will primarily be for talking only in Japanese. But because I would like beginners to be able to participate as well, I will also write out the English. Also, if anyone notices something that isn't right (like grammar and such) please be sure to teach us the right way!
さて、日常会話を始めましょう!ええと・・・ビデオゲームが好きですか?どんな?私はRPGが大好き!特に、ファイナルファンタジー。 4laugh
Alright then, let's begin the everyday conversation! sweatdrop Uhm... Do you guys like video games? What kind? I love RPGs! Especially Final Fantasy. 4laugh

Q-Gloaf Final Fantasy wa sugoi desu yo! Sore ga suki desu. Watashi wa ijou sanhyaku gojuu jikan sore games o asobimashita. (tell me if I'm writing stupid things >.<") いいえ!ばかなんかじゃありませんよ!あのう、多分その「以上」は「三百五十時間」の後にあるほうがいいと思います。どれが一番好きなファイナルファンタジーですか。私は・・・ええと・・・決められません。でも、FFIV / FFVIのCrossoverのFanficを書きましたよ。だから・・・はい、多分FFIV。私ってばかね・・・。 sweatdrop Iie! Baka nanka ja arimasen yo! Anou, tabun sono "ijou" wa "sanbyaku gojuu jikan" no ato ni aru hou ga ii to omoimasu. Dore ga ichiban sukina Fainaru Fantaji- desu ka? Watashi wa... Eeto... Kimeraremasen. Demo, FFIV / FFVI no crossover no fanfic wo kakimashita yo. Dakara... Hai, tabun FFIV. Watashi tte baka ne... sweatdrop No! It's not stupid or anything like that! Uhm, I think that the "Over" should go after the "350 hours." Which one is your favorite Final Fantasy? As for me... Um... I can't decide. But I did write a FFIV/FFVI crossover fic. So... Yeah, probably FFIV. I'm so lame... sweatdrop

Watashi mo X-2 ga suki daga, ichiban shiawasena owari ga eraremasen! Doko ka machigatta ka wakaranai yo! crying To say something is your favorite, you can say, "Ichiban sukina," and then add on whatever noun after that. For example, "Ichiban sukina uta" would mean "favorite song." I also like X-2, but I can't get the happy ending! I don't know what I'm missing in order to get it!! crying

I missed it by 0.1%! scream BTW. I think "Sore wa watashi wo tasukatta" would be more correct. The other way, you're saying "I saved it," instead of "It saved me." ^_^

Q-Gloaf Whoops, indeed xD Koko ni asa niji desu, watashi wa guttari suru, demo I don't want to sleep~ watashi no ai ni matsu. Dou yatte wa "I don't want to" o hanasu ka? "~tai" means "I want to." So, if you were to say, "I want to go," it would be "ikitai." If you want to say, I don't want to go, you can say, "ikitakunai" or "ikitakunai desu." You can add "tai" to the continuative form of any verb... Utau: Utaitai Iku: Ikitai Taberu: Tabetai Suru: Shitai Kuru: Kitai Make sense?

I think it's better to use "tasukarimashita" actually. It's in passive-form, which complicates things a bit more (and I think you were trying to avoid that, whoops D: ), but I thought of it as one of those useful things to know...even if you don't understand the grammar patterns behind it. EDIT: I officially fail. Ignore all above suggestions in this post ._.;; Gomen ne. x_x

EDIT: I officially fail. Ignore all above suggestions in this post ._.;; Gomen ne. x_x Actually, no, you don't fail. You bring up a good point. I actually wondered the same thing, and I'm still a little confused by it, but here's what I think I know... >_<;; Tasukaru is an intransitive verb, and tasukeru is its transitive verb equivalent. Passive voice, on the other hand, is basically a suffix added to other verbs. I honestly don't know if you can use passive voice on an intransitive verb. They basically mean the same thing, except maybe particles would be different. I think what I said before for particles was wrong, too, actually. I think it should go like this: (using the intransitive verb) Kodomo-tachi wa otoko de tasukarimashita. The children were saved by the man. (using passive voice) Kodomo-tachi wa otoko ni tasukeraremashita. The children were saved by the man. I think in this case, the intransitive verb sounds better, and I think passive voice is more often used with verbs that don't really have an intransitive form, for example: Seito-tachi wa sensei ni okoraremashita. The teacher was angry with the students. In this case, also, if it is the student talking, the passive voice conveys a feeling of being put upon or inconvenienced. A more direct English translation would be something like: The students were gotten angry at by the teacher. Does that make sense? Also, anyone know if my particle usage is correct there? xp

囲碁をしたことがありません。ちょっと興味がありませんから。ところで、すきと言うのは動詞じゃなくて、形容詞です。だから、「私は囲碁が好きですが、KGSでします。」と言うほうがいいと思います。そして、その「が」は必要かどうか分かりません。
I have not played Go. Because I don't really have any interest in it. By the way, "to like" isn't a verb, it's an adjective. So, "Sukidesuga" would be a better way to say it, I think. Also, I'm not sure if that "ga" is necessary.
