Banning hackers is kinda yes and no thing.

When I was reading the first part of the article I was thinking that hetoan2 is just an a** who should really start playing fair. But further into the article he created codes and publish them to prevent future hackers from being able to use codes for very long (so now there would be a small war in the background between hackers only).

So, I'd say if the hacker uses codes for the purpose of cheating online during game play, yeah, ban them. However, if they only hack to prevent further hackers from being able to mess with the game, it might be good to have someone like that here.

That's just my opinion. So, if nothing else, just ban the cheaters.

Yeah, that was how he came across to me. Many people on TCon forums throughout websites think he should be hired by HVS to hack their games before release, so a counter measure can be put in.

But also, as I have also seen before, and I agree with, hacking can also be used to get free games. Not only is that illegal, (and most Wii hackers do it), but that s not registered that that person got the game, so the developer was not paid for it. And having copies stolen makes them think that the only people that play there games are the numbers that are counted to actually ahve bought the game, so this discourages developers from making new games, which is harmful to Nintendo's industry.

Well it would help if nintendo (more specifically NOA) would do something about it. Honestly the NOA is like an empty building, I've been there. It mostly exists for game testing and Wii fixing.

All in all if you crunch the numbers, there should be a mathematical formula applied to statistics that would determine which game is "most popular" the free or the purchased.

And once again, HVS is saving up Mac IP addresses and sending them to Nintendo but NOA is kinda procrastinating.

Well, at least Nintendo is slowly becoming less of a dumb a**, selfish company. (Take Halo DS, canceled because there was an argument about which company got the most money from it). They are at least allowing patches now, through free Wiiware purchases. One can only hope Nintendo becomes less about money then there so called focus on "gaming and not graphics" Crap. They don't focus on game quality and fun, it's all about the money, even though they are the most profitable company and should have no worries.

Halo on DS, I think we can agree would suck. GTA on DS looks horrible compared to the home systems.

The lazy-ness and dumb-a**-ness I am sure is only a NOA issue. I'm sure Japan's Nintendo HQ is not this way (especially since they are not hurting from Americas economy). If I only knew how to speak Japanese. XD

At least HVS is showing the future potential of Wii gaming. Red Steel was good but The Conduit blew it out of the water.

And also, as I am predicting.

I am not sure about where you put Red Steel 2. Sure the first one's graphics sucked and it was slightly glitchy but Red Steel 2 will be compatible with Wii Motion Plus.

Yah, but in this day and age, FPS's should have multiplayer to extend the fun.

Yeah, true. I mean, aside from the DS, this is Nintendo's first attempt at online gaming... online good gaming.

I don't know, but everywhere I see a comment like this on other website forums, it is usually responded with "becuase that would be suicide."

Hackers in-general, unless they are noobs, would not waste there time hacking something if it is easy to do. They hack for ego points, they want to be able to proclaim victory on something difficult. Since X-Box is basically a computer tower using your TV as a monitor, it's all been said and done. As for PS3, it may actually die soon. Sony has been hurting for a long time in the profits. They are like a mill in the hole. That's why as PS3 continues being shipped out, the less and less features come with it.

As I have heard it. Unlike dumb a** Nintendo Hacker policies, Sony and Microsoft permaban anyone who enters an online game with a hack enabled, so most hackers are scared to hack the Xbox 360 and PS3, since then they will either have to pay full price for a new system, or never go online again.
