((This is an example of a flow exorcise I use to defeat writer's block. I just write what thoughts come to me.))
Let it flow and don't be arrogant in your experience. It's mental vomit time! And, so it begins again. My heart burns, is it on fire? Is it passion? Is it depression? It's probably just my breakfast. Oo! Fire, c'est jolie! I need to work on my novel, but I'm having trouble flowing, that is why I am doing this. How to word it? How to make it beautiful? It'll come with time. The question is, how much time? Perhaps, I'll start with a general description. Yah! That will give me a blueprint. Here goes.
The main character is a Ukai, one of two branches of the human race. The other race is the Nolokai, who dominate and enslave the Ukai. The Nolokai are tall and have no body and facial hair. Quite often they don't have any hair at all. They are very arrogant in their nobility and high intellect. Their distinguishing features are the completely random, solid coloration of their hair and eyes. More distinctively, their pupils are shaped like a star. The number of points in their star pupils vary.
The Ukai are shorter and thicker. They tend to be hairier and posses slight fangs. They can be described as being beast like. Their pupils look kind of like that of a cat yet rounder. (I'm talking about a cat's eye in full light)
Then their are the Mekai. They are vary rare because they are the result of the two varieties crossed. Interracial romance is seen as shameful by both races. The Mekai are the rejects of society. Their features vary from between the two races. Mekai born in the city of the Nolokai, (The Nolokai have only one, very large city that covers half of Asia.), are instantly found and thrown out. They are forced to survive in the meager Ukai villages that surround the city. If they are lucky, their features will resemble one race enough to blend in.
((In the end, this flow exorcise turned into a brief description of the races involved in my story. This piece is kinda old, and the story has been much more developed. I even wrote a language for it. ))
