The three ships travel together, coming up on a deep space battle field near one large planet with a very large, oppressive structure on it.

"You don't need to prepare for battle just yet." Protagoras said, unsure of himself at this moment, but knowing he would need to toughen up before they actually get into the combat, "That is the prison where your friends are detained. However, getting there will not be easy. Slow down, do not approach the battle until we have been given orders." Protagoras said, as he slowed down his ship.

"I've always found it useful to raise shields near a battle even if I'm not in it, missed shots for example" said Shadan cooling down his weapons

Kioko walked around in a circle inside the ship she was in, thinking about something that seemed to puzzle her. However, in her eyes the thought was deeper than one would think. Everything suddenly seemed so real; so dangerous; so ridiculously stupid. She did not understand such thoughts, and her heart ached as she remembered Dagger.

Protagoras sent a message to everyone over the ships intercoms, "Alright, people, I'm going to patch you in to the commissioner's orders. Can everyone here me?" Without waiting, he gave this order, "Just to ensure you understand, you are to follow his orders without fail, and without hesitation! Got it?"

"I'll follow unless they're against my conscience" said Shadan

"Yes, well, unlike him, following orders is no alien concept." Arllien said in his usual monotone, after all, he was raised, taught, and trained to follow orders with absolutely no hesitation, and that was simply how he lived his life. Arllien worried about Shadan, he had been a lot of trouble recently, he better not mess up this mission.

Protagoras was slightly confused by Shadan's comment, but, figuring he meant 'morals', Protagoras moved on, "Jet, Kioko, can you two hear me as well? Do you understand?" He questioned, knowing that the ones in charge are usually the ones with the greatest problems following orders, because they're used to giving them.

Kioko looked up at Protagoras and nodded with a little Hum sound accompanying her nod. These odd thoughts still swirled in her head into pools of confusion and distress, but she shook them off with the best of her might.

(does anyone know what's up with Jet? He's posted in other guilds and been online, but he hasn't posted here in about a week or so.)
Protagoras began to press some different controls, the transmission was coming in and he was being sure to patch everyone through, "Alright," Protagoras said through the intercom, "The transmission is beginning, I'm patching you all through, it works both ways, be aware he can hear you as well."
All of the ships would receive the transmission, beginning: "Hello to all of you, I hope you are all safe as of the moment." The commissioner then cleared his throat, "You are an important part in an effort of ours to finally end this war in our favor, so please listen up and act quick." He cut out here, as if expecting a response from the people.

((No I have no idea... sorry...))
Kioko stood silent like a wall, staring at what she could see and listening for what she could not. Silence was something she was good at; she'd gotten better at it these past few weeks. Too much had happened to her. Too much tragedy; too much hatred; too much rejection for what she was. She stood in her at ease position, wishing she could hide. She wished she could breathe... to feel her half-heart beat. But all was still inside her body; no sound of comfort from the heart she thought she had.

"Kioko!" Protagoras shouted over the intercom, not in an angry voice, just a raised tone, "Are you alright? We do not need any distraction on this mission!" She seemed pretty distant from everything right now, and that was not needed, for it could disrupt the mission.
"Protagoras, is everything alright on your end?" The commissioner asked.
"Yes, all should be fine," Protagoras responded.
"Alright," The commissioner said, "Now for your mission." He continued, "You are all very important in ensuring that this war ends soon, and in our favor." He said, "Our combat ships should be able to produce and opening big enough for you to get through, but only for a short while, so do nothing but charge through the opening, or you could get caught on the enemy side of this battle field. Understand that? No Heroics, no unnecessary combat, just go through!"

Arllien looked at Shadan, unsure, after all he had said since this disaster began, that he would not try and be a hero or anything. However, he knew that, if need be, he could transfer to another ship, or something. Then it really dawned on him, why is he so concerned about helping? Is he going to get payed for this? Perhaps a question to ask a little later.
