Ratings/ToS

Keep it PG-13. We understand that some of us are older, but this isn't just the Guild's rule. It's in the Gaia ToS. It also makes everything better and easier for everyone.

Reading All Threads

If you intend to join an RP, READ the creators' posts to see what they require.

All threads will be read by the Moderators to make sure they are within the rules. If your thread is questionable, we will PM you to let you know that you're cutting it pretty close.

Please post your Rps in the correct subforum. If you have posted them in the wrong subforum we will contact you via PM and tell you where it has been moved to. It is up to you to tell the members of your RP that it has been moved and where it has been moved to, not us mods.

Contacting for Help

You are more likely to get faster results by PMing us your questions, suggestions, and issues. I, Ankou Light, has PM notifications sent to my phone, thus letting me know when you need something. We will also be checking this thread as often as we are on. However, if one of us happens to leave for a few days, we won't know until we return. Hence, PMing ensures a hasty looking for a computer.

If we're unable to help you, or you simply want a second opinion, you can always ask another moderator. If you click on the "Guild Members" tab on the guild home page, you can see who is Crew.

Making a Thread

Please be as original as you can. We understand that it's hard to create a roleplay with elves, that someone hasn't already thought of.

If you've created the same thread a few times and still dies, please stop remaking it. That just causes clutter.

Plagiarizing: To use and pass off (the ideas or writings of another) as one's own (dictionary.com). It's illegal, don't do it. Seriously.

When making a thread, please post a plot, setting, rules, and a profile skeleton if you require it. Have a decent plotline - no 'save the elf princess/prince from utter Doom.' The only thing utter about it, is the amount of utter fail that plot will bring the thread.

Number of Active Threads Allowed Per User

3. No more than that. It is a decent number of threads for 1 user to have in this subforum.

If you have more than 3 threads, you'll have the heartbreaking decision of which thread you'd like to have locked. It's your responsibility to keep track of how many threads you've created, not ours.

Deletion of Threads/Cleaning

After 1 month of inactivity, the thread will be locked.

After 1 month of being locked, the thread will be deleted unless otherwise asked/noted.

We will PM you to let you know that your thread has been locked.

Threads that have passed this 2 month period of inactivity(like some really old threads in the back) will be deleted without notice.

If an Announcement is put up with "Cleaning [date]," NO NEW THREADS ARE ALLOWED TO BE MADE until after that date. If new threads are made after that date, they will be locked until we are done.

Warnings

1st rule break: warning is given for disobeying not only the guild's ToS, but Gaia's as well. Your post will be edited.

2nd rule break: warning is given and the thread locked for 2 days + editing of your post again.

3rd rule break: warning, post edited, thread locked for a week.

4th rule break: no warning, thread or post will be deleted, depending on how the other RPers are fairing.

We'd honestly hate to delete an entire thread just because one person broke the rules 4 times. Please think before you write.

RESPECT

FLAMING. It's simply not allowed. There's no reason for it. Just simply ignore the person, or bring your issues up with a moderator. Don't take the matters into your own hands. You're only adding fuel to the fire.

We don't care if it's a moderator or not. If you are being a jerk, and we see that you are, you're getting a warning. That's not cool.

You can yell at us, and get mad at us all you want for deleting/moving/fixing your thread, but if someone before hand tells you that your thread is in the wrong subforum, DON'T JUST IGNORE THEM. They're probably right.

If you have a problem with the rules, PM me your hatemail. Don't spam up the the forums.
