If the boxes are empty, you are perfectly fine. Being gone a week will give you an x. Being gone a second week right after will give you two more xes, takes you to three. Being gone three weeks, none consecutive, will also give you three xes.
If you are really active for a week, you get a heart. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it so it's not totally based on me x3
Heart cancel out xes, so if you have an x and earn a heart you end up with nothing. When you get three hearts...well, I haven't figured that part out yet. n.n;
