Rules
We ask that you read through the rules carefully and word for word. Please do not skim through them and make sure you understand them clearly.
1. You must follow the rules. If you break a rule you will be warned once. If a rule is broken a second time, you’re out of the guild. If you have read through the rules we hope you won't have this problem.
2. No godmodding, autohitting, killing another character without permission, blocking all moves and dodging every attack thrown at you. If you’re questioning a post that you type because you think you may break one of these rules, you’re free to send it to The Altered, Jaz Neko or Anna Lux and we’ll we happy to let you know if you’re good or not. Please report any god modding.
3. OOC will be taken to the OOC thread, NOT INSIDE THE FORUMS! We really want to stress this. If you post an OOC in the forum you will be warned. However, if you post OOC along with your post so it's inside the same post, we'll let that slide. ^^ Yes, you can post OOC in the threads, just make sure it has your RPC role playing or you will be asked to delete it and you will be warned.
4. Swearing is allowed, just please not every other word. If your posts include a truck load of cuss words, you’ll be warned once to tone it down a bit.
5. Romance is also allowed, but please keep it PG-13. If you have a need to “screw around” please take it to the private messages. Much appreciated.
6. Let’s be reasonable here. Your character will get tired. They will need to eat, drink sleep ect. So in battle, your character is not invincible and will eventually be drained of their energy.
7. Fighting is not only allowed but is encouraged. Fight fight fight! Just don’t go over board and keep it PG-13. We want gore, not just too much gore that we’re drowning in it.
8. PM your profiles to The Altered. Do not post your profiles. If you do we’ll think you didn’t read the rules and you won’t be allowed to join. When you pm your profiles, be sure to type in “Umbrella” as the subject or you will not be allowed to join.
9. Role Playing “Limbos” as they are called can be annoying, but sometimes hard to go around and sometimes you can’t control them. Life happens. If you know you’re not going to be on for a while, please let the forum know. If you leave for long periods of time without a heads up repeatedly you may be asked to leave the forum and your profile will be deleted. We know sometimes life happens and if you can’t get on a couple times, it’s understandable.
10. No Meta Gaming. Meta Gaming is using out-of-game information, or resources, to affect one's in-game decisions.
11. Ignore question 8 and please send your profiles to The Altered in a pm with the subject of the pm being "Popsicles". Once we have okayed your profile, feel free to post it into the forum you see fit. If you make an RPC for Foundation, go to the Foundation thread and post your profile. Please do not post your profile in the forum where we will be posting.
12. NO ONE LINERS. We would like a semi-literate to literate forum.
13. NO FIGHTING!!! Your RPCs can fight, just no gaining up on another gaia member. We’re all part of the gaia family, so we can all get along. Your RPCs can hate each other, but if the hate comes out in the Out Of Role Playing Conversations, you’ll be asked to stop. We don’t want any cyber bullying and we don’t want to make anyone cry. It will not be tolerated.
14. No advertisement or bumping.
