This thread is for anyone who wants to ask a question. Questions can be about the story-line, the rules, the forums, the guild, or any question you want to ask. We ask that you:
1. Keep your questions related to the forum. If you're having trouble with something, we'd all be happy to help you out.
2. Keep your questions appropriate. No sexual jokes or wise a** cracks or you will be warned and perhaps kicked out of our guild.
3. Questions will be posted in this thread, not the forums. However, if you post a question in the OOC thread, we put it there so people can chat, so knock yourself to ask questions there as well.

Based on my understanding...
Foundation takes place at the beginning of the two groups
Seclusion takes place a little while before the Altered thread
Malice takes place after the Altered thread, near the end of the "war"
is this correct?

Yes sir. Foundation is the "foundation" of our thread, of where the Altered and the Institute originated from. The RPCs will be Altered that have just been recently created, humans, or people working for the Institute ((however, none of them can be Altered, seeing as to they have just started working on the project and have not started using them for their dirty work)). The world has just started to fall apart, and the reason the Altered were created were to try and make a super human that wouldn't be affected by plagues and diseases. When the Institute failed at creating beings that were invincible, they found their experiments to have "failed". They are still doing experimentation however, trying to create the perfect super human. Seclusion is the opening to Retribution and the rebels. The Institute has gotten much stronger and has started attempting to destroy their "failed experiments". So, the Altered are fighting back building the underground base that was mentioned in our old forum. The RPCs can be rebellious Altered, Altered searching for Retribution, Foragers ((people who search for Altered to bring them back to Retribution)), or Institute members. By this point, Institute members can be Altered. Malice is the final part of the story ((as far as we are concerned. Although, we haven't even started typing up the plot for Malice, we have the story line set up for the most part. Malice will include lots of battles, armies and enough fighting to go around for all. For a slight sneak peak, I can tell you that the Institute has gotten as close as they are going to get to their "super humans" and the rebels have a final plan to destroy the Institute for good. A major war breaks out between the Institute's super humans and the rebellious Altered. Is that enough info for you? If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to answer them to the best of my abilities.

All, quick and sneaky-like, I need to know what the tech. level is for all of these RPs and what the view on technological advancements being used to modify humans is (loosely, cyborgs).
Because depending on that I may get to change Trippy-boy to a closer incantation of what he is supposed to be.

Because depending on that I may get to change Trippy-boy to a closer incantation of what he is supposed to be. Because our storylines are taking mostly in the future, we will in fact include technological advancements. However, For the first two threads you can not use your original Altered RPCs. We don't wanna be mean ((cause honestly, I'll bring back Alice and Lance in a heartbeat)) But this is because Foundation takes place in 2025 and Seclusion takes place years after that. ((Around 2050 or close around there.)) However, our original forum takes place in 2110. So, we highly suggest new RPCs are made for this forum. As for Malice, we haven't exactly set a time frame for it yet, so it is possible you would be able to use an old RPC for Malice. I'm actually considering creating one more subforum and just continuing the original forum. If you wanted to make an RPC similar to Tripp, or related to Tripp ((which I think that's what you mean to do, I'm just typing this out cause it needs to be typed out)) then you can go right ahead and do just that. As for the technological advancements, feel free to create any weapon, gadget, vehicle, or anything that you desire. As long as you aren't creating new things that don't set up with the time frame. Seclusion is in 2010, which is one year from now, so technological advancement shouldn't have gotten too far ((doesn't mean it hasn't, so there can be new items)). Seclusion can definitely have technological advancements and Malice will most certainly need a ton of new technology to kick a**. If anyone has to question their technology, they can PM it to Jaz Neko or The Altered and we'll let you know if you're good. We just ask that your devices don't break the rules such as godmodding and what not. Did that answer your question?

Anyways, so the three seperate roleplays, they're all going to be going on at the same time? Or will you start and finish one before moving onto the next?

Anyways, so the three seperate roleplays, they're all going to be going on at the same time? Or will you start and finish one before moving onto the next? All three are open for role playing, but they all are one big story line that continue into the other one. Foundation being the beginning, Seclusion sort of the middle and Malice the ending.

Ok, so I've accepted my invitation, but I still have a question. I'm looking to put a character into Foundation and then merge him into Seclusion, so any ideas on how I would be able to do that? Or Should I enter the character into both, and then simply change his age?

I suggest changing his age. He'll have to be 25 more years older but he can still be the same person with the same powers. No problem at all.

So if I'm to understand this, that means that even the Altered characters are subject to aging? I thought it might be interesting to play one character throughout such a lengthy timeline. Perhaps one of the scientists that had to do with creating the Altered to begin with, if that's not too grand a request. I think it would be interesting for at least one character to have seen events unfold from beginning to end.
Besides that, the formula for the Eternals would have had to come from somewhere. (I wouldn't make this character over-powered, you can trust that much. I hate super-powerful characters as much as the next roleplayer -- I'll happily run the profile by you, and modify it as many times as necessary.
