There have always been whispers that there are angels among us here on earth. Although nobody is for sure if they have actually seen them. So all there is really is speculations--theories--of how an angel looks, acts and speaks.
The truth is, angels do exist. They are beautiful creatures, and they do come to earth every so often for visits. They mostly keep to themselves, and try not to get attached to anyone on earth. This is because they do have to alight to the heavens eventually---and there is the off chance that the people they get close to will find out what they really are, and bad things could happen.

Sonja landed lightly on the roof, looking down at the street below her. It was so beautiful here on earth. She could never have imagined anything like this. A small played across her face as her wings disappeared and the glamor around her disappeared. Now she looked like any normal human of about twenty years of age. Her long blond hair reached to her waist and her green eyes sparkled with intensity.
Finding the ladder that led down the side of the building, Sonja carefully made her way down and touched her feet to the ground. She walked to the edge of the alley and peeked out and watched for several moments as the people went past ignoring her. Finally Sonja began to make her way down the street, her sky blue dress flowing around her.

Selene watched from down the street as her sister made her way through the crowds of people. She sighed and shook her head. Why was Sonja so interested being here on earth? It was nowhere near the beauty of their home. She pushed a small strand of her auburn hair out of her face. Her dark blue eyes flickered around as she watched everyone.

Gerard had just got denied another job, the day was not going very well at all. He looked around at the people on the street before running down into an ally and thought aloud to himself
"If this keeps going on I dont think Ill be able to pay my rent" he said as he checked his watch

Sonja began to hum to herself, her arms swinging lightly by her sides. Everything looked so different from down here. It was bright and in better focus. Not that her eyesight was terrible---angels had excellent eyesight---it just all looked so much better. Her head moved from side to side as she continued to take everything in.

"Oh no! Im going to be late" Gerard moaned as he took off out of the alley, so quickly infact that he didnt notice the girl in the sky blue dress. He seemed to have knocked her down "Oh Im so sorry!" he said as he tried to get her up.

Sonja let out a gasp as someone knocked her down. She looked up, shielding her eyes from the sun, to see the young man standing above her, apologizing. "It is okay," Sonja said as she allowed him to help her up. "See---no harm done." She gave him a brilliant smile.

"No! I was late for a job interveiw and........." he looked at his watch and his face droped "It seems Im already late" he said as he put his hands down, and began to walk away

Sonja's head tilted to the side slightly. "Well that cannot be true. If everyone you came near had bad luck, I would be seriously hurt." She ran her hand through her hair. "Hey--since I am part of the reason you missed your appointment..why don't I buy you lunch?"

Sonja smiled happily as he accepted her offer. "Well you will have to pick the place. I am afraid that I am new to town, and I don't know of anyplace good to eat." She turned her gaze towards him and held out a small hand in his direction. "My name is Sonja."
