Roleplay Summary

Hello, this is where I will put the summary of events for you just in case you fall behind.

Two weeks before school starts you go to London to get your things and see other Hogwarts students there as well as your friends.

Down below is the last two pages of most of your conversations. If you do not want to read that, you can start here: London, 2 weeks before the start of 5th year

As a reminder, we are in London, 2 weeks before the start of term in Harry's 5th year. This means no one knows of events that will happen in Order of the Phoenix through Deathly Hollows. If you do not know what happened before Book/Movie 5, PM me and I will summarize it for you.

Juliet saw her cousin Michael and his supposed girlfriend Kathryn and decided to be bold and speak to him, also Ana, and, to be fair, Kathryn, "Hello Michael, Ana, Kathryn, how are you?" she asked. She then heard someone call to her and turned around, "Oh, hello

Penelope walked upstairs to Sarah's room, "Sarah? Kayla? Everything okay?" (Kaji Shisi)


Sarah sat up, "Yeah, sure, come on in." She then stood up and opened the door. (EmilyElizabeth)


"Hello, Penelope," Kayla said and then turned back to Sarah. "I don't know who voted for the man. As to your problem, considering your connection to him, you might start by trying to talk to him. Of course, doing that alone might not be such a good idea," Kayla recommended. (Padme1 cool


John McClive and his father, George, arrived at the Leaky Cauldron around noon. John's father immediately spotted the Diggory's and walked over to say hello while John looked around for Kayla. Not seeing her, he silently took a seat next to his father. He knew she'd be around soon. (Ariana_Rosewood)

"Hello, Penelope," Kayla said and then turned back to Sarah. "I don't know who voted for the man. As to your problem, considering your connection to him, you might start by trying to talk to him. Of course, doing that alone might not be such a good idea," Kayla recommended.

Penelope smiled when she walked in. "I've been looking for you guys everywhere. Finally I came up here. It's getting crowed downstairs. Too many adults," then she hugged Sarah and then joined them on the bed. "My aunt went to buy some more seeds. This year we will be growing sunflowers, Fanged Geranium and roses. I am excited because I always heard that Fanged Geranium was good for healing but can be nasty little boogers when they grow up. Not sure what's with the sunflower or roses. Maybe to make the grounds look better, who knows. Anyways, how are you two?" (Kaji Shisi)

"Harry is not going to be happy when he finds out," Hermione whispered. She spotted Michael and Kathryn and knew that she didn't want them, of all people, to overhear her. (Padme1 cool


"I think one of us should be the one to tell him before it's too late," Neville replied, "Have you heard from him at all?" (Artea)

"I'll tell him when I see him. For now I think we should drop the subject. You never know who could be listening," Hermione said. (Padme1 cool


"Alright then," Neville nodded, "Do you have any idea what our DADA will be like this year? I didn't receive a textbook list for that class like we usually do. Did you get it?" (Artea)


"No, I didn't. It's rather odd," Hermione said.(Padme1 cool

Michael turned around and was about to say something rude, then he saw that it was his cousin, Juliet.

"Hey, what's up?" He asked her with his trademark smugness. He nodded a greeting to Ana as well.

"So, what do you guys think of the rumors that Potter's been spreading around??"

Kathryn turned over to Michael and groaned.

"Really, honey, do you have to bring that up now? I just ate. The very thought of that boy makes me sick!"

Michael grinned:
"Sorry, sweetie!" In actuality, he hated the Potter boy as well. Most, if not all, Slytherins did. This was a fact that was well known.

Michael was actually quite fond of the drama.

He pulled out a copy of the most recent publication of The Daily Prophet and pointed to the headline:

HARRY POTTER: BRAGGART OR LIAR??
RECENT INTELLIGENCE HAS INFORMED US THAT THE INFAMOUS HARRY POTTER IS INDEED PLOTTING WITH ALBUS DUMBLEDORE IN AN ATTEMPT TO CREATE MASS HYSTERIA WITHIN THE SECURITY OF OUR WORLD.

The article continued on in that manner, and also made a point to note Harry's over-dramatic display of fainting during a divination lecture in an attempt to skip class.

Michael grinned again.

"Isn't this just wonderful?" He asked out loud

Jade heard a familiar voice and turned her head to look for it's source. "Juliet?" she asked with a grin. There were so many students here, that she could hardly recognize even herself. "Is that you?" They had been forced to room together the year before but Jade didn't think any ill of it. She actually enjoyed the experience. (shadow_kaija)

Juliet sighed, "No, it isn't. That poor boy has been to hell and back and you make it sound like it was the best thing in the world, and worse, you make it seem like Cedric died for nothing. Makes me ashamed to call you a cousin." She then turned and saw Jade, "Oh, hello Jade," she smiled. (Yukai Kera)

((Yay, I start the fourth page!! WOOT!! *dances randomly in circles*))

Harry rose with his scar pounding. The brilliant flash and cold laughter that had plagued his dreams for years was becoming all too familiar.

He rolled over in bed, and wondered if it was even worth waking up. He didn't need to read The Prophet to guess what people were saying about him at this point. He glanced over at Hedwig who stared at him with those large black eyes.

Slowly but surely, the anger that he felt towards his friends was returning. The no contact with the wizarding world had driven him nearly to the point of insanity. Then there was the Dementor attack on Privet drive...

He pushed the thought aside. He knew he had the trial at the Ministry soon, and he didn't need to be dwelling on that now. He had only made it to the Leaky Cauldron last night.

He glanced around at the lodgings that the innkeeper had given him. The room was certainly dingy. Possibly a testament. But he didn't care. He was just glad to be out of the Dursley's.

He washed, got dressed, and headed downstairs. He saw that some other students had already arrived. He exchanged a quick glance with Michael and Kathryn, who instantly stopped talking. 'Bet I can guess what that was about,' he thought bitterly. He quickly spotted Hermione, and a surge of anger flooded through him. After all this time, she just stands there!! Why hadn't they contacted him?? He walked over to her, not caring who saw or heard him.

"WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN??" the weeks of waiting to hear from someone. The weeks of endless agony suddenly blew up at her. He knew it wasn't right, but the anger wouldn't subside.

"YOU COULD HAVE WRITTEN!! YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!!" He flung his copy of The Prophet at her, which had the same article that Michael was reading earlier.

"THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN GOING BY ALL SUMMER!!!!!!!" His cheeks were red with anger.

He continued shouting. He couldn't stop. He knew that The Prophet was going to have a field day with this, but he didn't care.

"WHAT IS GOING ON???" This last question he asked to nobody in particular.

"Sorry, Harry," Neville stuttered nervously, "I wrote you once a week around the beginning...of summer...then when...the papers started...every day...EVERY DAY Harry...you never replied. I just sort of...gave up after a bit...but...but I'm sure Hermione tried even harder. Don't yell at her." (Artea)

Michael's smug expression quickly turned to death. How dare she support him? How dare she when she was as connected with the Haydens as she was!!

If only his mother were here to hear this...

The arrogance that was the trademark of Michael's family was finally getting the better of him.

He slowly walked up to Juliet and stood inches away from her.

"You will pay for that. I promise you." The whispered threat was terrifying.

As soon as Harry was finished with his tantrum, Michael rounded on him:

"We'll see who wins this, Potter!!" with that, and an icy stare from Kathryn, the two of them left The Leaky Cauldron for Diagon Alley.

Jade turned to leave with her friends when she heard Harry Potter, the most famous person in the realm of magic, loose his cool. It was then that she decided to stand up to the plate. She had played a game of quiditch against his house team once, two games before her accident. She walked by Harry and stopped. Then she heard Michael and shook her head. She was half tempted to pull a hex on the kid. But it was not her battle and there were too many people, for a student to pull anything right now.

She turned and ran to catch up with Ana and the others, shaking her head. Normally, she wouldn't have thought about standing up for someone else. Maybe this year, she would come out of her shell. That was a bit scary, considering she knew her own thoughts.

Her Purple hair fluttered in the breeze as they walked outside.
"Oh, my books," she smacked herself in the head, realizing that she hadn't paid for them. "I'll be right back..."

With that, she ran back inside the bookstore and found the bookkeeper. (shadow_kaija)

John was about to say something to Michael when he left with Kathryn. "Good riddance. Don't pay any attention to that jerk, Harry. He wouldn't believe it if the Dark Lord himself was standing in front of him." He patted Harry on the back and sat back down. (Ariana_Rosewood)

Ana, who never backed down from anything in her life ran in front of him and smacked him on the cheek, "You a*****e. Don't you get it! The Dark Lord has returned and you act like nothing's happened. I don't blame Juliet for her actions against you."


Just then there was a voice behind them, "Is there a problem?"

Ana turned around, it was their head of house, Severus Snape.

"It seems no one believes that the Dark Lord has returned and now Michael has threatened his own cousin."

Snape looked at the boy, "Is this true?" he asked with his trademark smirk. (LeighMae)

She didn't know why, except Dumbledore called for them. She heard the commotion on the street, but stayed out of it. as she walked over to pay for a book she thought would be fun to read at night, she saw Jade and Juliet. "Oh, hello," she smiled. Kayla ran down the stairs and sighed when she saw Harry yelling. That would just add fuel to the Daily Prophet's claims. "Harry, calm down, we believe you, sooner or later everyone else will realize you're telling the truth," she told him. (Padme1 cool

Jade found the bookkeeper and paid them. Then she turned to Juliet, "Blood often does do that to you," she said. "But still, they are family." She sighed, she didn't know what else to say.

Kainda smiled and held out her hand, "Kainda Renee Vance-Shacklebolt, 5th year Gryffindor. We've meet before. It was your first year and you needed help finding Platform 9 3/4. You saw my mum, dad, and myself and mum was complaining about the muggles being near the platform and dad needing to do damage control to get them away from the entrance so we could go through." Jade nodded and held her hand out, shaking Kainda's. "Ah, yes...muggles," she said with a smile. She remembered that day, inside she threw a temper because she too was a muggle but she didn't do anything.
"I'm third year now, it seems to fly by so fast." (shadow_kaija)


Kainda smiled, "Yeah I know what you mean and this year seems to like it's already off to a bad start. This whole thing has kept me away from my parents." (ShyFoxx)

Jade quirked an eyebrow and looked around. "Forgive my ignorance," she paused. "But what whole thing? I know Harry's upset about no one writing..." She thought for a moment. She hadn't been able to keep up with the magic news since she was living in the muggle world. Her uncle didn't tell her anything, she imagined that he knew though. She also hadn't picked up a paper since she had gotten to Diagon Alley. (shadow_kaija)


Kainda pointed to the paper, "They are saying that Dumbledore and Harry lied about You-Know-Who's return. I mean how can they lie about something like that. I know Sarah and Penelope for one know it's not a lie. I know it's not a lie, but a lot of people believe whatever is printed on that thing. It's worst than The Quibbler. Well actually, now that I think about it, The Quibbler is the only thing in print that is telling the truth. Not even the papers from the rest of the world are telling the truth, well our world anyways. Poor muggles, they still have no clue. Oh, but they will. Before this school year comes to an end, they will." (ShyFoxx)

Jade narrowed her eyes at the paper. "Perhaps it is good that the muggles don't know," she replied. "They wouldn't believe it anyways and those that would believe would probably panic just like they do at every alien abduction story," she sighed. "I only know Professor Dumbledore to be an honest man and wizard. I see that this realm now has the same problems as the muggle world." She paused. "No one knows what to believe, soon people will give up on reading the newspapers..." (shadow_kaija)


Kainda shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe, but since there are really only two forms on of news in this world, it might be a long time before that happens. So, what kind of books did you get?" she asked eying the pile of books the book shop keeper was packing. (ShyFoxx)

Jade smiled, "School books," she replied. "Books that I don't necessarily need for school, but I wanted. I am studying Ancient Runes and Care of Magical Creatures this year...I picked up every book I could find," Jade grinned. She really did love to learn and she loved to read about the mythical creatures.

When the Bookkeeper was done bagging her books, she thanked them and gathered the bags. "Just some light reading," she continued as her arm almost fell off from the weight of the bags (shadow_kaija)

Gracie peered around the corner of Ollivanders and smiled. It was busy as always, her parents for once left her to do her own shopping this year. They would usually tag along, making it obvious that she was from a muggle family. It wasn't something she minded, but some others were put off and, of course, it made her life at Hogwarts somewhat difficult.

She nodded as she began to walk towards the Magical Menagerie, Rosey was out of meal worms and crickets and she got to be rather mean if she didn't get fed on time. A small bell rang as she entered the shop and she smiled as the shopkeeper greeted her. "Hi, I need food for my tarantula," Gracie said as she looked around the room. The place was noisy, she could barely hear herself speak, but she was almost sure the shopkeeper heard her. He came back and handed her a small plastic container with several insects inside. She placed the money on the counter and slipped the container into her bag "Thank you," she said politely as she walked out of the shop.

The street really wasn't any less noisy then the pet store, and she somewhat wished she was listening to birds screeching rather than people gossiping about Harry or Dumbledore. She shook her head and sighed as she walked towards the book store. "One more thing and I'm..." she stopped for a moment "new robes, and no more sitting next to Shamus during potions class," she grumbled and slipped into Madam Malkin's. She quickly grabbed what she needed and darted out, the place was crawling with first year students, if she stayed too long they would start asking questions, and she really wasn't the type to mingle with people she was unfamiliar with.

She made her way to the book store next, picked up her school books then found an interesting one for leisurely reading about Transfiguration, a class she absolutely adored. She paid, then spotted a few students she recognized and smiled as she waved.

Gracie smiled and thanked the book keeper as she grabbed her books and headed towards Kainda. "Nice to see someone I know for a change, I had to venture into Madam Malkin's to get new robes, it's a mad house over there" she laughed a little and slid her books into her bag "How was your summer?" Kainda shrugged her shoulders, "Not good. Mum and dad's been busy with this whole Dumbledore and Harry being a lair buzz. I am sick of it personally and don't give a damn. I want to spend time with them, and haven't spent a day so far. They brought me shopping, but had to leave all of the sudden." (ShyFoxx)


"In some ways I'm glad my parents are muggles," Gracie shook her head "All I've heard since I've got here is 'Harry this, Dumbledore that.' I wish people would learn to mind their own business!" She swept her hair off her shoulder and leaned against the wall.

"My summer was fairly ordinary as usual, though we did go to Scotland to visit my Nana," She grinned a little. "Glad to be going back to school really, I don't belong in that world." (0--Mistress--Misa--0)


Kainda smiled, "Well, I sometimes wish I was a muggle, or at the very least didn't have busy parents. I guess that's what I get when I have parents who work for the Minister. So, how was Scotland?" (ShyFoxx)


"Well..." Gracie rolled her eyes, "I think it's fair to say I was sent back to the stone age in my grandmother's house. Everything was so old, she doesn't even own a television. I'm surprised she has running water or electricity," she laughed. "But it wasn't all bad, I enjoyed seeing her and the country, it was the first time i had been there since I was six."

Gracie was somewhat distracted as she scanned the room, it was obvious she was looking for someone in particular, though she didn't realize she was making it so obvious. (0--Mistress--Misa--0)


Kainda smiled, "Who are you looking for? You can't fool me, I was trained by my parents, who, as you know, are Aurors. They trained me to make note of certain things." (ShyFoxx)

P.S. Michael is now being played by Padme18. Harry is now being played by Artea and Michael's girlfriend is no longer a character. I know this is a very long summary, but it's the last parts of what some of you where doing before it got a little crazy.

I have decided to move the roleplay along. Here’s what happened.

London, England August, 1995

Two weeks before the start of the new term families from all over was in London picking up supplies for their children.

Here we meet some of the behind-the-screens players.

Mariah and Reno stated to get better aquatinted. Seamus started to come out of his shell and showed Gracie a good time.

However, of the other end…

Ana gave Michael a dream charm. This charm, when activated gave the wearer of the charm the ability to travel to the dream world and meet up with the giver of the charm. Also, they would be able to remember what happened to them in the dream world. Sadly though, something terriable happen. While under a curse/spell, Michael’s on again, off again girlfriend, who was working for Lucius Malfoy, Micheal’s uncle, took him up stairs in the Leaky Caudron. This, unknown to him, “turned on” the charm and Ana saw everything that was going on since she was the giver of the charm. When the position wears off, will Michael be able to save anything of the positional relationship that he had with Ana, or will al be loss.

Also, on the other end…

Juliet, daughter of Lord Voldemort OR possible Lucius Malfoy (but really is Lucius’s daughter) doesn’t know it yet, but her “uncle” and his lord was plotting something against her and her life is danger. Will it be able to be saved before all is lost?

However, good news for Harry…in a matter of speaking….

Harry was taken by Remus and his “dog” to 12 Grimmauld Place, a.k.a. the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. His trail, which took place two days later allowed him to be free of all charges of him involving the use of under age magic.

Now, what will happen next?
