I wandered the streets, looking at the few who wandered them with suspition. It just didn't feel right, everything seemed so strange here, even though I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong.

Seppen sat obediantly near the fence of a farm. The farmer smiled at him and tossed him a bird he had just killed. Seppen leaped and caught it in mid air, landing on his stomach and chewing happily on the body

I glanced down the street, and very far in the distance, I could see a familiar face. Is that Seppen? I thought, hoping that was true as I walked toward where he was.

Seppen growled while he tore off a wing. To humans he looked cute but to any demons that might have been watching, he looked strange.
His ears perked up as he caught a familiar scent. His head popped up

Yuki walked down the street. She had no clue where she was so she kept her face emotionless.

Seppen wagged his tail and stood up when he caught Yuki's scent. If it wasn't for the bloody bird in his mouth his tongue would have been sticking out happily

Yuki's ears twitched and she smelled the air. She smelt blood so she followed the scent.

Yuki saw Seppen coming from a distance. She waved slightly and raised an eyebrow. Why was he so happy to see her?

Seppen skidded to a stop in front of her and continued to wag his tail.
"Hel!" He spat out the bird.
