This is a healthy thriving clearing that is at the top of the thousand stairs above the village. Despite this fact you wouldn't be able to see the village unless you breach the bushes that hide the cliff from view.

Rednal wandered into the clearing, blinking slightly, his Mana of Elements floating beside him, looking around with a sort of detached interest. Rednal was a little more in tune with spirits than other people would be, and was a little better at guessing their thoughts... though it had to be admitted that he still got surprised by them fairly often. It could have been worse, though. Still, he hoped that the others would get here soon... it was one thing to be patient while working, but he wasn't quite so good at just waiting and not doing anything.

Libros sat in the treetops well away from Rednal, however Libros could still see Rednal easily. He had a spirit, about him. Remaining out of sight, making no sound Libros would watch, and wait for his allies to arrive; he was after all facing an opponent bordering Shuhan level.
Libros' eye twitched as he waited, it had been so long since he fought..... I hope all my training payed off....I want to deal with this guy quickly....

Loud snoring could be heard in the clearing the snoring was soon after followed by cracking noises coming from a tree near the one Libros was in. And then crack the large branch that had somehow supported this over 200lb man for quite awhile collapsed dropping its contents on the hard dirt floor and there was Arroyo eyes just barely opening from the commotion then widely opening and looking at the tree is disappointment. "Son of a glorious gunner! It took me forever to climb this foul beasty and it doesn't even bear the fruits of my incredibly difficult labor! Eh?!" Arroyo's gaze averted to Libros and the other man who walked on water. Oy you there! He said pointing at Rednal. You feelin freeeeeeeeeesh?! Cuz I sure am! Arroyo had said with great enthusiasm and confidence as he pulled the almost invisible string camouflaged in the dirt yanking his well hidden wagon to him. Then he changed sights to the tree that was next to him noticing Libros. "Oy Mr.Funny Hat we best start If im here and your here stiff proly is to and boss proly be watchin from the far off land o tree town. Stiff is the secret weapon after all...I just yelled that sucker out loud dint I? Oh well ow bout we get this dance on the devils dance floor goin wanna take the first step!" Arroyo dug in his wagon an wanked out one of his larger faux Ballistas and arming it he wanted to get this done fast obviously.

"...Do it." Rednal said. The Mana of Elements calmly held up her hand, and flames surrounded the bow the man was holding. Any flammable parts would be going up almost instantly, and any metal would rapidly be rising to the point where it couldn't be held... and subsequently to the point where it would start to melt. "I feel that I should let you know now; I am protected by one of the greatest Summons in the world, possibly the greatest, and while I can generally handle her, if you're seriously trying to hurt me, I can't promise you'll survive. I do not imagine you would have encountered a Summoner as strong as me before, so you would not know the kind of forces we can call. I have nothing against you, so if you stop now, you'll be fine." Rednal could think of perhaps two other Summoners around his level; neither was anywhere near here. His words were calm, polite even. It probably didn't hurt his case that a Mana was there next to him, and it was of the type that had numerous ways to deal with arrows. Burn it out of the air, knock it aside with wind, absorb it into water, raise a shield of earth... all sorts of methods.

Drawing his bow Libros knocked and fired three arrows rapidly. He was firing from his concealed location roughly 40 yards away. Each shot was aimed at the summoner's body.
After firing his shots Libros would drop down to the ground and sprint into combat weaving in and out of trees. Once he was in 15 yards of his target he would swing his arm diagonally rising up, releasing a 52 card attack that would slice his target.

Arroyo watched as his faux Ballista burst into flames in his hands soon after throwing it upon the ground turned to ashes. So my decoy was burnt to ashes quite disappointing it would have been more dramatic if you used some ability to slice it or fling it out of my hands in some amazing magical way or at the very least turn it against me somehow. Anyway I spose I've learned as much as I can with that pile o junk. Arroyo raised his hands in the air and shook his head in disappointment. He then reached in his wagon pulling out a bow of gargantuan proportions constructed of bones and a quiver with equally gargantuan arrows within it. Then Arroyo kicked away the wagon with great force hiding it in the depths of the who knows where. Arroyo then began petting his bow strangely. "The wings of a wyvern, the jaws of various lizards, the spines of bears, the lost teeth of mighty dragons, the strings;the fallen's armor melted into fiber then coated with a elastic my father taught me to make and the feathers of a violent Roc, and finally reinforced with the scales of a vicious serpent. The weapon of which I've devoted my years to if it were to somehow burn would induce a mad mans rage. Therefor regardless of the cause this bow will never be harmed for I will never leave its precious memories that this creation holds to fade away in such a simple manner. Now brace yourself for the arrows made of bone that parts the water of the sea, that challenges storms to races and splits through the earth greater than earthquakes." Arroyo then yelled as loud as he could. "Libros listen up this gonna take awhile now be a bud and keep this man busy aye! If possible try and restrain him or keep him as far as possible! Arroyo took off a great distance and slammed the bow down with great ferocity upon the ground Arroyo armed the bow and began pulling the string back more and more even more than someone could imagine and the more he pulled it back the more power that bow was gaining. Even if the arrow itself misses the shockwave is bound to be a surprise for even the most experienced of people. Of course that is if Libros can follow through with my request.

He talks a lot. Rednal thought as his companion raised her hand. The arrows fired through the air by the weaker one twisted, then simply fell to the ground, followed by the cards being flicked aside so that they dropped as well. Firing attacks through the air when there was an entity present that could control said air was not the greatest plan of action. "Well, perhaps I'll take your bow with me as a trophy when I leave." Rednal said calmly. "If it hasn't been broken to pieces. Sorry, but I don't think the mere fact that you like it means it's invincible. What do you think, a little more wind?" his companion smiled and nodded, before razor-sharp arcs of wind shot towards the two archers, all but invisible as most attacks using wind were, and shot at speeds usually reserved for describing hurricanes. Perhaps the man's bow was strong, but Rednal wasn't so sure the man holding it could survive having the bottom half of his body cut apart. And air was the easiest element to manipulate, or so the Spirit had told him; fire ran wild, earth was stubborn, water flowed well, but wind... wind had no shape at all, and if broken apart, it could just reform with more air and keep going. I hope they give up before Flandre comes out... That could be bad... Rednal thought as he waited patiently. In combat, he generally didn't move much. He wasn't agile except for writing things down. Summoners were like that, relying pretty much completely on the friends they called to act as both sword and shield.

Arroyo knew there was something amiss The airs off I can feel it Libros should to and what I'm feelin is some holy shi.. Even at his great distance its speed was truly incredible and the sound of it meant that this air was coming in fast. Arroyo had but a few seconds to act though he wasn't worried in the least just a bit surprised. with that he launched his Arrow the force of the arrow disrupted the incoming wind shook the trees and had separated many leafs from the nearby trees. Striking the air like attack had caused the arrow even with its great strength to arc down soon after landing in the dirt to the far lower left of Rednal a good 15feet away not even close split in two. Arroyo spoke with a sigh of relief he himself had been knocked back a good foot from the recoil. "To make one of my most finely crafted and reinforced arrows to split like that is remarkable."Of course I expected no less from a man who presented himself to become a sage." Arroyo strapped the bow almost as big as him to his back then reached to his side and presented a much much much smaller bow."I see no reason to waste my fine arrows in a fight I cannot win while there are much easier ways to make up for it. Of course who am I to call myself a master if I gave up so easily." Arroyo took two arrows from a much smaller quiver at his side then loaded both at once and stared at them as energy flowed within them the he fired. The two arrows spread a fair distance apart as chains made of pure indestructible energy formed between them and zoomed past Rednal. Rednal would have to respond in some way or be ensnared by the chains embrace.

Being as close as he was Libros had very little time to react, he didn't want to have to use this move yet, but it was that or destruction, so without hesitation a three foot current of wind whipped around Libros, focusing it to his feet he leap up thirty feet doing a double front flip, avoiding the attack, then at the peek of his ascent he drew his dagger and focused the wind to his feet once more ending the second flip halfway though.
He was being propelled straight down at the summoner with his dagger in hand at considerable speeds. He would loom like a hawk diving down at it's prey.

The really sucky thing about fighting someone who could freely control the wind was that dodging was pretty difficult if they knew what they were doing. You were surrounded on all sides by what they were attacking you with, and it was nearly impossible to get away from that. Hence the wall of wind that came at the weaker one a few instants after he jumped into the air, angled to slam him aside. "You don't know the half of it." he said as two columns of earth erupted out of the ground in front of him and caught the arrows that had been fired, preventing them from coming close to him. He stayed where he was on the moistening ground, then nodded his head. Taking the signal, the Mana of Elements pointed towards where the buff archer was and emitted a wide wave of flames that shot along the ground towards him. Perhaps the man's weapon was strong... but if so, then he was the weak point in that group. After all, a great weapon wasn't going to do you much good if you couldn't survive your opponent's attacks.

The wind slammed into Libros' body knocking him off to the side, however the windstep's current weakened the majority of the attack. Rolling backwards thirty feet, Libros caught himself and got to his feet. Only a little time left......
Gripping his dagger tightly Libros dashed towards his opponent. Using his extreme speed he became nothing more than a blur and to the eyes of a book reading wizard nearly invisible. While the summoner and his monster attacked Arroyo Libros would flank the summoner in an instant, and aim to strike him in the back of the head with the handle of his dagger, knocking him out.

((Dont you mean behind you the arrows had already passed you >< buuut simply jumping would mean the arrows chain probably would have missed anyway bah nvm))Arroyo stared down at the flames shooting towards him he himself dodge rolled to the side but his lack agility made it difficult to completely dodge the attack his left arm and the back of his leg caught fire. He drenched the flames with sand and dirt from the ground putting it out. He stood still prideful and excited. That makes three one more and my speculation is confirmed. Arroyo using Libros as a distraction ran to the edge of clearing and then from out of the blue yanked his well known wagon from its devilishly good hiding place. He returned his master piece and pulled out a large faux Ballista as once seen before but this one was more detailed and was made of a glowing strange mysterious type of material but this weapon had was much smaller. He then cast aside his wagon into a new hiding place.Arroyo armed his ballista pulled back and waited for Libros to finish his assault for what he was about to do would tear the earth asunder.

((No, you just intended for them to pass... they were stopped before they got that far. My character's a bookworm; you think he's at all acrobatic? XD ))
The wall of earth that shot up as Libros came in did an excellent job of stopping the weaker of the two fighters. "Kid, maybe you can get that to a good level someday, but as you are, you're weak." Rednal said, chuckling. The Mana of Elements was one of the greater spirits, after all, and nobody at the level of the little one was good enough to beat her. Not alone, and not without one heck of a plan. A little of the mud from the wall fell off as the Mana, quite capable of manipulating her elements freely, pulled the wave of flames back and spread it significantly wider than it had been before. She hadn't allowed it to go much past the man, but was instead bringing it for another strike. And he'd wasted most of what little time he had already...

Libros flipped backwards off of the wall and stayed stationary for a moment analyzing the fight.
The summoner and it's demon were capable of using Wind,Fire, and Earth easily, Arroyo and myself both use wind, judging by his weapons and tactics.
Libros looked back at Arroyo to notice him bringing another massive arrow out, without wasting a moment Libros used the last moments of the windstep to flash out of the area near Rednal. Slightly winded from his attacks Libros waited to see what he could do next.
