hi celine i know a TON about david: the first song he ever learned was "como la flor" by selena, his birthday is on december 28 1990, he was born in miami florida but he spend most of his childhood in utah, once he told a girl that she was his "spicy nacho" (lol), he likes girls that are down to earth and appreciate what they have, he has a kewl cherry pitter (its from a fan), his mom is from honduras, he is a mormon (i think), he has a sister named jasmine, and thats all i know. thanks so much for starting this discussion lol. biggrin

Okay.
His full name is David James Archuleta, he was born to Jeff and Lupe Archuleta on December 28, 1990. He has four siblings, he's morman. He currently live in Murray, Utah and he goes to Murray high school. He in in boy scouts ((haha!))
He was junior grand champion in star search. The year after Star Search he found out he had partial vocal paralysis but declined risky surgery and has said he feels he is almost fully recovered
He auditioned in San Diego at Qualcomm stadium ((Home of the San Diego Chargers!!! XD)) where he got his ticket to hollywood.
n the finale he sang "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", "In This Moment" and "Imagine". Judge Simon Cowell declared that Archuleta won the evening and even David Cook, who ultimately won, thought Archuleta would win: "I have to concede it, the kid came out all three songs and nailed it", said Cook. In the final tally, Archuleta received 44 percent of the votes. During the finale show, identical commercials featuring Archuleta and fellow finalist Cook mimicked the Tom Cruise scene from Risky Business where he dances in his underwear playing an air guitar; they were promoting the game franchise Guitar Hero.
Currently David has one album out and he's probably working on another one. Haha!
