Hello, I am Tyler, you may call me that or Ransom, either is fine, my wifes name is Sarah and we are both 21 years old and we have 2 month old beautiful son, named after me.
I am from England, but I live in the US, I work for Verizon Wireless. If anyone has questions about their phone, I would be glad to help.
I have done extensive research on infant circumcision and I am very much against it, there is simply no reason for it.
Also, if you would like to know more about me, look on my profile or you can always pm me.

*Waves* Hello, Chitsa here. That works because it's my Sioux spirit name, hence my using it on here. I'm a 36 year old mother of two boys who, after having been lied to by a doctor in order to get me to allow him to mutilate my older son's p***s, I began researching RIC and came to the conclusion tht it is vulgar, barbaric, and a blatant violation of their basic human rights. My oldest is fifteen and I can still remember his screams of pain when he was circumcised at three months of age. When they brought him back to me he was listless and in shock, and remained that way for days and each time I had to change his diaper I wanted to cry because it caused my son pain.
Any person who thinks that causing a newborn pain is acceptable because 'they won't remember it' has no business becoming a parent. I will fight for the rights of all newborn males until such time as this barbaric practice is made illegal.

Good evening.
Despite being female, I have a male half of me represented in this Avatar. His name is Thomas, my name is Tamsin. You can call me either name and use either gender pronouns.
Growing up, I've learned that both my Father and Brother are NON-circumcised. Upon seeing why so many people do it, I asked Father why he didn't, and why they do. He explained his opinions to me and how he disagrees with it, and I became glad that they're both uncut.
I never truly thought I'd ever get my children circumcised, (I'm currently 20 and have no children but I do plan on children in the future) then I researched it more and more and now I definitely know I will NOT ever get my future boys, if any, circumcised. Just as I would never dare get future girls, if any, circumcised.
I will fight to make one just as illegal as the other worldwide. It's a disgusting process and needs to stop.
Thank you for your time.

Hello, my name is Alex, or you can call me anything you feel some ppl call me yittk. I am a victim of circumcision myself and ive been extremely against circumcision (both male and female) since i learned about it and started researching it. circumcision is something ive wanted to ask my mom about and why shes had it done to me and my brothers, because it is something i tend to feel very angry about and am currently looking up was to revers it as much as i can, its become a bit of a physiological issue for me and i dont know how to stop it. I am a very odd person i believe, i have many interests and have been told im very nice and give good advice. I am a bit confused with most things in life. I am a bit of a computer geek, so if you have any computer questions I could have an answer for you. As you can see by the avi i am a furry, so just dont worry about that, but feel free to ask any questions.
well thats basically me. if you want to know anything more about me feel free to ask 3nodding

Hi, i'm rachel and i live in arizona. you can read more about me on my profile if you wish.
my mother has always acted as if not circumcising boys is wrong. she always talks as if it is gross and makes a face when she talks about it. i can remember a conversation that we had, when we saw a mexican man walking down the street. she said how mexicans usually don't circumcise their kids, and how it is gross... lol, not an amazing conversation but that's just an example. so, i used to just agree with her. well, i've been sexually active with two guys, and both were(are) uncircumcised. i never saw a problem with it, even before i knew any facts or myths about it. from my experience it does tend to make the p***s have more of an odor, but soap and water does wonders. it's really no big deal! my boyfriends have never had any sort of infection or anything.... and i have never gotten one from having sex with them.
although i intend to never have children, in the event that i lose my mind and do, the child will be un-circumcised if it's male.

I'm Lore (pronounced Laura) and I'm 20 years old. I live in Minnesota. I will never have children but I still believe in protecting human rights. It bothers me that people don't see anything wrong with this.

Whoo it's sad I'm a mod and I've never posted in this thread.
Anyway .
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm 18 (19 on November 14th smile ) .
I'm anti-circumcision , and I will always be that way. I feel infants deserve the right to their body, and they should be the only one who can decide if they want to be circumcised.
I (hopefully) will some day have a child, and regardless of gender they will be intact .

Hi, my name is Luka. :] I'm 20 years old and a psychology student in college, my dream is to become a therapist specialised in children. (Also, please note that English is not my mother tongue and forgive any potential errors, please. >.> ) Although I'm currently not planning on having any children myself, I'm definitely against hurting them in any way when it isn't an utter necessity. Circumcision obviously falls within the 'unnecessary' category. D: I want to help children, not hurt them.
I would like to know the reasons behind the 'pro-circ' arguments though. Personally, I believe you can convince more people when you respect their opinion on it, too. Just bombarding them with facts will sadly enough not make them listen. <3

Hi I am Amber I am 19...20 on Nov 15, my husband is 21 and our son is 8 months.
I originally was going to blindly circ him just because that's what you do but I never felt comfortable with it. After an incident that led to me firing my midwife where I could feel my son moving away from the Doppler and my midwife insisting on using it despite my screaming protests I knew Drs. didn't always know best. I also knew that if I couldn't handle him moving away from a sound I would not be able to handle chopping off part of his p***s. I did research on the topic and talked to my husband and we eventually decided not to do it. I am very glad I chose to do this because I felt so hopeless and angry when I took my 2 day old son in to get TX state mandated genetic testing that involved drawing the blood from his foot. I wanted to kill that nurse for making my boy scream.
I guess I'm not as anti-circ as some of y'all though. I believe that circ should be like tattoos or boob jobs. Perfectly acceptable for a grown person to do but crazy not to mention illegal to do to a child. Circ only serves cosmetic purposes unless you are jewish in which case we could make an exception.
@chitsa ITA. its mine as well saying its OK to sexually molest a baby because they won't remember it.
@Alex. don't say "as you can see by my avi I'm a furry" it makes everyone assume that everyone with a kitty avi is a furry and I just like black cats. I have 2.
@Machi. What does a tattoo feel like? I know its off topic but I want one and have wanted it for years but I don't know what it feels like. I know it will most likely hurt but I birthed naturally so I can handle pain.
@rachel. Don't say that if you lose your mind and have kids because if your having sex it can happen. I used to think I wouldn't have them till I was 30...I was wrong and I'm happy I was.
@luka. Where are you from? I believe the main reason is cosmetic. So that they look like dad/ everyone else or because its whats done and not because its whats right or an informed decision. Jewish persons do it as ordained by God as an identifier and is the time I think it is acceptable to do to any infant. The way the Rabbi does it is actually far less painful for the baby and he heals faster. I was going to go with a Rabbi till I got my facts strait. Others do it because they think it's "clean" but its like saying we should cut off a baby girls labias to make it easier to clean.

Hello, I was Victim, of Astetic Circumcision, I do not want the same thing for other infants. I do believe we retain the painful memories, but they are so traumatic, that they are buried deep. deep, inside, never to resurface, manifestations of this resurfacing memories, might help to explain mass murderers, psychotic murders, psychotic behaviours and such. Though we might not ever fully remember , i believe residual memories will sometimes manifest in certain ways. The only way to add credulance to this is to find out the percentage of these individuals that are circumcised. I remember going to the women's hospital when my brother was born, (my step mom, not my Bio mom) I saw this plastic infant restraint used to strap the baby down for circumcisions, it did not give me a good feeling, it looked more like a torture device then a hospital device. Perhaps these feelings and thoughts were the result of some triggered residual memory of my own circumcision, and perhaps this explains why people like us are so anti circumcision, we are some how remembering that day in our own ways, and remembering with out recognizing that memory, a manifestation of those memories. Actually I'm going to put this in a Topic. Thanks for inviting me.

Hello my name is Shannon. I am 20 and live in Australia where I was born and raised. here in Australia circumcision isn't as popular as it is in the U.S. and other nations (though it does happen). Though I am female and don't know anyone that's "cut" I am against it. As a newly qualified child care worker I try to advocate for the rights of children as much as possible and as much as I like to respect other cultures there's a fine line between allowing something you may dislike because it's part of another culture and saying "No, that's ENOUGH" because despite it being cultural it is still ABUSE. Female circumcision isn't accepted in most first world countries so why should male circumcision be? Just because it's an "outy" (as opposed to an "in-ny") does not make it less cruel. Anyways thankyou for your time and hopefully we'll meet in the forums.

Hello, my name is Chris. I'm 18 and I live in my homeland, the UK, however I have wanted to leave for as long as I can remember, and next year I will finally be gone!
I was apprehensive about petitioing to join this guild since I'm not a US resident, but for me an issue like this is something everyone has an opinion on, don't they? So then most people DO have a part is this debate.
I try to come at this from an objective point of view, and whilst I completely oppose circumcision from a moral stance, my morality is meaningless in the grand scheme, at least compared with cold hard facts. I work largely on two things: statistics and the emotions of others. Cruel? Perhaps. Cold? A little, but only because this is the harsh reality of circumcision, something which too many people learn the hard way.
I hope I get approved for this guild, I feel I have a lot to share and contribute, and it would be great to get some extra information on the subject, though I have done research on this myself.
I AM a Theology student, and as such I have studied religious reasons for circumcision, and against. Though I am more knowledgable on the Abrahamics (mainly Judeo-Christian) I should be able to provide a concise, logical argument from just about any angle, against or even for circumcision, not that I would do the latter.
That's about me, at least in relavence to this thread biggrin

Hello, My Name Is Tori, Im 13 years Of age and live In the Unites states. Even if im Quite young , I'm very serious on the topic of circumcision. My family(siblings) are all girls, And My Father Is uncut. Which im glad of. I belive Circumsizing a Child who canno't Make their own desicions Is Horrible, no matter what country. I think , By the time you are over 18 and chose that you would like to be circumsized thats understandable, but to make that big of a desicion for someone who cannot have a say is bad. I recently watched a video of the procedure and was sick. The whole time the poor child was screaming. And the father was still in the room watching this.If i was a parent, I could'nt bare to do this to my child. Its like human tourture. circumcision needs to be illegal. We need to stay strong and help those who can't make their own desicions yet.
