Vhaidra was in the kitchen soon and looked aorund for her slice of cake.

Lily was already holding up her plate for thirds. Smiling and Luna was eating off some icing off a smaller plate. She was happy to know the cat seemed to be getting plumper. "So you guys just take people to places and things to others? Not much fun is it?"

Vhaidra smiled,"We have troubles come up every now and then." She was still trying to figure out why Lily made her feel weird around her. She was apparently human.... just with lots of energy. She smiled at Lily because she was starring. Thats when she saw the slit in her eyes appear and then disappear. Pondering this she started to clean a dish. Letting Tira talk to Lily.

"You mean there are eleven more of you?" Tira said with a mischievous smile and a wink. "And yeah, that is about it. Doing whatever kind of jobs we need to do to keep this ship flying.... and keep food in Zark's belly."

Zark walked in and replied to Tira's comment, "speaking of which where is the meat?"

"In the ice box, but you are NOT eating it raw this time! It is disgusting enough how much meat you eat much less uncooked," Tira ran to the ice box and blocked it from Zark.

"Ugh, fine." Zark sat down reluctantly at the table to wait for his dinner to be cooked.

Once Red Dawn was turned to make a straight shot for Shaybah Balthier locked the helm in place and then went down to the galley for some food as well. Normally they would have simply crossed over Mazdamunda to reach Shaybah, but with the recent encounter of that Imperial fleet he decided it was best to avoid Imperial Air Space entirely for awhile. So he went the long way around to the coast of Estalia and then crossed over there. Although Estalia was an ally of the Empire this route should be safer from any Imperial Ships that might be looking for them.

(So if you want to try and attack Red Dawn at night you have a couple options: a straight forward attack, but that would cause them to be aware you are there and run. Then you can use grappling hooks to latch on and board, that would have to be done very carefully to not rock the ship and wake anyone up. Also there is no radar invented yet, so everything has to be spotted by sight, meaning spot lights or really good night vision.)

Lily smiled at Zark,"I like my meat quite rare too don't worry." Hopefully that didn't seem strange but the sound of raw meat sounded quite nice. It made feel a bit sad she couldn't run like a wolf or hunt like one. It would bring her a lot of joy to do that.
Which reminded her that she still had to tell Benvolio about that.

Vhaidra smiled,"I can make it as rare as possible for you Lily and you too Zark."

" Ah how I do love games, but I think now would be a good time to earn the discount rate you so kindly gave us. " Doing a little dance around the ladies in the kitchen Benvolio seemingly pulled a beautiful chair from behind Tira's back and His favored violin from Vhaidra's hair. Swinging into playing position in a corner he winked at the others.

Holding up the violin for all to see he launched into a tale." You know This is my favorite possession. I won it in a game of skill. The fellow I won it from told me it's song after I defeated him in a contest of Bardic singing. Tonight I'll let you all hear a true tale of daring in a game of souls."

Of course to put in a large bet like that was clear that something was going on. Zark narrowed his eyes and looked at her intently, he leaned forward and sniffed and then stayed silent. for a long time.

"Don't think too hard Zarky, don't want to overwork your brain before dinner after all," Tira called out, she had been watching the game off and on from the kitchen.

Zark glared at her and then leaned back to his side of the table, "she's got nothing, it's a bluff," and he matched Lily's bet.

Balthier smirked at the statement, "well I am not one to trust your senses Zark, but I am inclined to agree, this girl is trying to pull a fast one on us." He matched Lily's bet as well.

Finally it came to Valen, he studied all of them and their faces, "I am going to have to fold this time."

(I think that made sense...., folding is dropping out right?)

" haha good going Lily. Well before I continue anyone have any requests?"

"No, I hadn't noticed that. Maybe it is some sort of cosmetic magic? Like the Drow do with their skin? Maybe she likes cat, she does have Luna after all."

Valen heard their conversation but tuned out, he did not like to eavesdrop. His hand was improved, he had 3 of a kind.

Balthier sighed, "well today just isn't my lucky night. I am going to have to drop out, I try not to owe money to my customers after all."

"Bah, we'll probably earn money this way," Zark stayed in the game.
