VerdenDominant Race(s): Humans Places of Significance: Allegiance: Mordiheim Population Size: Small Overview: This small town is the unofficial capital of Imperial Mazdamunda, but the region is too vast and unimportant to effectively patrol so this city has turned into more of a backwater outpost which has made it a favorite of mercenaries and traders as well treasure hunters exploring the ruins of the Lizardmen. Lily was going through her ritual. She had been changed a month ago the new full moon was about to rise they all waited. They all raised their heads to meet the three newest members Lily being one of them. Everyone was always happy and proud of the newbies, to have a child to show the way. It was an honor Lily held high. She hadn't grown up in the best of places this fresh air and the thought of running on all fours sounded nice.
She started already having the dreams they all said were normal of her first change being exilirating they said the pain of it was nice as well and you never forgot it. Its the most magical.
Everyone around her changed, Lily waited. She felt a tingle go down her spine she smiled waiting for more. Was that it? She opened her eyes she was still human amoung a bunch of wolves. "Did I do something wrong?"
There was a confusion. She smelt like them but didn't look like them at all. What had happened? Had she not been strong enough to receive the gift? They snarled amoungst eachother. The two newbies looked at her with hate as they all did. Before Lily knew it they had turned on her and attacked. Leaving her for dead as they went running off into the forest for thier first time with the others.
Lily healed quickly but even these wounds were deep. They wouldn't be gone for about a week. She sat up crying, wondering what went wrong. She found herself at the nearest village. Too many cut throats around to have anyone trust her. She got some new clothes and ignored everyone's stares. She bought herself some weapons and decided that she needed a job. Lily sat at the bar and just watched her beer bubble. She would look at the bullitions later for jobs. Right now it had only been two days since her exile. No one looked for her. To them she was dead.

Lily hadn't really been moved by anything they had offered her but she held onto some of the offers considering them. She laid on her back and looked at the gibbous moon in the sky. She hadn't eaten much not that she could afford it. She had spent it all on drinking away everything. That didn't do well with how she felt about everything. Bending over she barked kicking dirt on it and then returning to her lay down spot she ended up falling alseep.
In Lily's dream the wolves came around her and sniffed her a bit. They were confused but she was plump and nice to eat one licked her to confirm. She yelled out a no but they went to bite. She yerked awake and the little kitten that had clamped onto her nose mewed scared at the sudden movement. Lily sighed in relief. It was almost morning. She called it over to her and it came reluctantly. It was rather skinny she popped it into her small backpack like thing that she always carried around. It poked it head out. "Lets go get you some food then shall we?"
It mewed up at her and then fell asleep in the bag. Lily smield and knew she had to get a job but food came first and she had a bit left to do so. Going into town she bought a sandwhich and picked out pieces of meat for the little cat. It was female she wondered on naming it. The little kitten didn't seem to mind her bag at all and when it was let out it followed her. "Hey little Luna." She said finding it fit her. "Your my moon huh?" The little cat had been the only thing that had made her smile these past four days.
Luna just munched happily on her sandwich meat. Lily smirked and patted the little kitten. She was looking at jobs absently and decided on being a singer at a nearby bar. They had been needing one and they paid each night, it was perfect.

Setting up his Cello and Violin stands in the bar Benvolio Kanis Delvania the Twelfth Mused at the dingy but quaint town he had come to. It was run down but there were some attractive girls and even a few he would call beautiful. He had seen a cute girl with a kitten on his way in so it couldn't be all that bad. Waving the the barmaid he signaled for another wine. He had barley been in the bar for a few minutes and already she was eating out of his hand.
As she approached he gently stroked her face like a lover. " Thanks Kitten for the drink. It's almost as sweet as kiss must be. " Pulling back just out of reach as she went to kiss him he smiled knowingly " So tell me Bella. am I on alone tonight? Will it be Just you and me?"
The Bar maid fluttered on her feet for a moment before coming to her scenes. " Not if they find a singer, but I don't mind if its just us. Personally I'd love it."
Before Benvolio could have some more fun with the Barmaid he father the owner yelled at her to get back to work. After giving Benvolio a dirty look he stalked back to cleaning some glasses. ' Just great' thought the Elf. ' Looks like I'll get shorted again. At least there will be tips and plenty of free drinks.heh.'
( I decided a Singer needs a musician. And Ben would just get in the sky pirates way. Any way when Ben flirts I'm gonna use Italics With bold to show what he is empathizing )

Lily decided after she was done eating to go up and apply. "I wanted to answer your ad for being singer." She seemed nervous and depressed. When she handed the paper to the bartender it was covered with large healing scratches. Only a trained eye could see because she covered it quickly.

Seeing the Kitten girl hand the paper to the Bartender Benvolio felt a bit of a thrill run up his spine. ' I do hope she can sing. 'he though to him self.' A kind girl with a beautiful voice. That would truly make my night.' Continuing to tune his Cello he tapped into his mana and exchanged his cloths. His dusty traveling cloths were sent to his wardrobe for washing and a stunning White shirt and a pair of dark red pants appeared on his body in their stead. Smiling at the smell of fresh washed cloths and roses he watched the girl at the bar some more.

The bartender nodded,"Well you have to demonstrate we don't want people who think they can sing." Lily gave a small nod and her little kitten meowed form inside her bag. "Yes of course..." She paused and thought for a song. Then she started in an almsot hypnotic clear voice that hit every key perfectly and flowed.
I can't get to sleep
I think about the implications
of diving in too deep
and possibly the complications
especially at night
I worry over situations
I know will be alright.
Perhaps its just imagination
Day after day it reappears
Night after night my heartbneat shows the fear
Ghosts appear and fade away
"Stop." He held up his hand. "What song is that?" Lily was blushing she had wrote it once the werewolves ahd kicked her out,"Ummm one I wrote I can change it..." "No no it was great your in." Lily smiled,"Alright!"

(I planned on Lily joining the sky pirates are you sure you don't want to come with them? Kinda like he is trying to chase after lIly or soemthing and there is Tira a hot half elf and Vhaidra the drow.)
Lily smiled,"Thank you." She needed this money pretty badly with no place to live at the moment since she had been living with the werewolves, she needed something to buy all her stuff. Lily didn't have a plan past a job though and if this fell through she didn't think she would be staying in this town. It was too filled with memories.

Smiling back Benvolio waved the girl up in stage. " Im Benvolio Kanis Delvania the Twelfth and It is a pleasure to meet you. May I have the pleasure of knowing the name of the lovely song bird before me."

Lily blushed,"My name is Lily." She said a bit shy as she came up onto the stage. She had not really been called a song bird before and she suspected he was flirting. Her off put attitude toward the world did stop her from being impressed though. Yes he was quite a stunning man but she was not ready for such things right now. As well she didn't even have a place to live and a cat she could barely feed.

" Well then lovely Lily let's wow them. Why don't you introduce us to the crowd. " Benvolio flashed a devastating smile and twirled his Cello like a girl around the stage before settling in a ready position behind Lily. " Just bill me as Benvolio. It quicker that way, and I like things Informal."
( Just cause she is not interested doesn't mean He will stop. it's just part of his character. He would woo an old lady if the urge struck him. )

(Not that she won't be intrested later on just she is an off mood because of everything thats happened. Once she warms up she won't be stand offish.)
Lily smiled at him nervously, he seemed quite nice at least. She was use to singing for the other werewolves and having them join her good or bad but this was for payment and entertainment not for fun. She seemed stiff but she introduced themselves to the crowd. Lily decided since he said he had a tune for her she would use her song. Hoping she remembered all the words by heart.

After her song and throughout it she seemed to relax more and more. Turning to Benvolio she smiled,"What song would you like to do Benvolio? I most likely know it." It was a diffrent side of Lily she seemed to be more like a normal person. She kept pulling her sleeves down as a nervous habit though. Her scratches there didn't look pretty at all. At least her face had been unmarked since she had protected it quite well.

Stroking his chin with his hand Benvolio seemed to have trouble coming up with a song. " After something like that? I don't know. You have them half to tears. " Then Inspiration struck " I know. Ladies and Gentlemen." Turning to the crowd he produced a very small gutar from thin air." I learned this song from a great man. As huge in stature as he was in at heart. "
Turning back to Lily he winked. "Just follow along. And they will be drinking their tears."
He launched into a beautiful version of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'. After a moment Lily Picked it up and their Duet flowed over the crowd. Many a hardened man was moved to tears. The Bar maid just stood there with a smile on her face and tears rolling down her cheeks.
As the crowd recovered Benvolio turned to Lily and bowed. " As usual. My judgment in maters musical is never wrong.. Your voice is a rare gift. I only get that reaction from the ladies."

Lily smiled,"Thank you!" Her eyes were slitted a little bit at how she had warmed up for the song and she finally felt a little happy. She had felt tingles but of course she couldn't change something was wrong with that. She gave a small cough but covered the best she could. "Excuse me but I think I need a small break." The slits in her eyes were gone after her coughing though.
