Julian was quite amused at Frey Frey's excitement and couldn't help but giggle at her constant questions. The flight was short, only a couple hours in the fast airship. The air field in Drey Wood was much different from others in the world. There was no field here, instead the Elves asked the trees to grow very high and form large sturdy platforms for the smaller airships to land. Larger airships rarely, if ever, landed on the ground, instead they had access elevators which were lowered to the ground. There were no airstrips for airplanes here, because they weren't used much except for short private flights and war.

When they exited the ship Julian was immediately followed by a pair of bodyguards. Already he was seeing a problem in getting away from them. Cassandra followed after him as they descended into the forest, which gave him an idea. After a ways from the more populated areas Julian asked one of the guards to carry Cassandra so she didn't get tired. The guard picked up the very unhappy looking cat and cradled her in his arms. A few moments of that and Cassandra had had enough. She started to squirm and make very unhappy sounds and then the guard yelped as she drove her back claws into his arm. His reaction was to let go and Cassandra on queue ran off into the forest. "My cat!?!?!" Julian cried as he faked a very distressed face, "you have to find her!"

The guards looked at each other, "um, stay here." And they ran off into the forest.

Julian smiled at how easily his plan had worked, and when the guards were out of sight he ran in the opposite direction off the path. Julian hid behind a large tree and after a few moments of waiting Cassandra ran up to him and rubbed against his leg. He knelt down to pet her, "good girl Cassandra."

"Um..." Julian had not quite thought this part through yet, "well first we need to get back onto the path, the wood elves are more likely to notice me out in the middle of the forest than in a populated area." Julian found a different path than the one he had been on quite easily and then he decided to walk in a direction that he assumed was away from the airfield. "Um.... now what?"

"Um.... well, they might give me away to my guards... and that wouldn't be very fun would it.... I guess we could go to a garden, that shouldn't draw too much attention," Julian shrugged. There were too many people here and the Wood Elves monitored their woods too well to do anything fun.

"But.... I can't talk with trees," Julian said. "I don't know any magic... except how to use enchantments." Julian had brought his short sword wrapped up in a blanket and he had his ring on his finger.

Julian frowned, "that is sad. May I ask who else has been nice to you?"

Julian smiled, "she does sound nice. Maybe I will meet her someday..." They eventually made there way to one of the many gardens in Drey Wood. There were still many flowers even this late in the year, the Wood Elves were unmatched in growing things, except by perhaps Fairies of course.

(wow, just realized it is now October.... in 39 minutes. O_o)

"Well that is likely because most of our gardeners are Wood Elves," Julian said, amused in the irony of it.
