I'm just curious, what do you guys use to draw most often? Do you prefer traditional art or digital?

I'm not an artist, but my older sister. Draws them by hand then colors them on a computer using Gimp [A free downloadable program much like Adobe Photoshop. ]

Ah! GIMP is a really good program, especially since it's free^^
I used it before staying with my GF who has SAI and whatnot. It was quite interesting learning stuff all over again. . . and still learning. . . >>;;
I use to do the same as your sis, but now that I'm able to use my GF's tablet I use that of the late. It's more fun to me then just normal paper drawing because of the extra options you get, and it's just downright easier. I like easy. 8P

I see...I draw by hand, and then use a website to fix it up and sometimes color.

Alix: You like easy yet you refuse to use the shortcut keys...
In my opinion GIMP sux monkey balls, though it is a free program. Paint tool SAI or OpenCanvas are good ones though of course they aren't free.
I tend to draw by hand then ink it and color it digitally. So I guess I do both...

I don't like thinking either. Shortcut keys make me think, and I have to move outside of the other stuff that I'm doing to actually press the keys. I just like keeping my hand on the mouse and stuff as much as possible. D:

Same here. I scribble a lot on paper then either scan it or re-do it on the PC digitally with SAI and my tablet.
I'm still trying to find a good way to color since I suck at it ; n;

Hey guys ^_^ Even though I have a tablet, I refuse to use it sweatdrop It's pretty much just a glorified mouse and very jittery to use, so I just draw and ink by hand then scan the lineart up to be coloured by Photoshop.
