Red Dawn reached Dokkalfur by dawn, and then flew over the land for about another hour before reaching Arishaig. The land here was bleak, almost no plants and the land looked scorched, as if fires went through here often. And then they approached the capital of the Dark Elves. The buildings were all bleak, black, and with lots of metal. Sharp spires stretched into the skies. In older times people would be impaled upon these spires, but the Dark Elves believe this to be bad for their image, so now only the most heinous criminals suffered this fate.

The airships of the Dark Elves resembled their architectural style with sharp edges and dark color schemes.

Balthier brought Red Dawn over to the airfields on the outskirts of the city and then landed the ship. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have arrived in Arishaig. Please avoid back alleys, strange cults, temples, brothels, and generally any place that never sees the light of day."

When they landed, Tira appeared out of nowhere and whispered in Vhaidra's ear in a rather creepy fashion, "you and me, party shopping, k?"

Balthier strode out into the kitchen where Julian was eating breakfast. Valen sat across from him. Julian seemed quite taken with the Vampire knight, and so Valen couldn't help but be nice and answer his constant questions about his past. Of course Valen left the darker parts out, there were somethings he wanted to forget in his life.

"Well Julian, I would much rather you stay here-" Balthier started.

"But Valen will need me to help read the Dark Elf texts," Julian finished.

"I know, and I know there is little chance in keeping you here, so you stay near me, at ALL TIMES."

"I understand," Julian replied. He then went back to eating his cereal.

"And Valen, since you will be with us he should be safe enough. I would be willing to bet that even Zark would have no shot against you."

"Well, I am sure Zark doesn't fight fair, but thank you. I will not let Julian out of my sight either," Valen replied.

A dark elf looking allot like A photo negative of of Benvolio was stanginf outside the ship to greet the Ladies as they left. " Are you leaving without me Princesses? I'm hurt. " In a dashing get up of a red vest on black traveling leathers and with of all things one of the legendary drow shifting cloaks on his back Banvolio looked every bit a Dark elf. Letting his magic go for a second his skin color returned to normal. " I do so love this city. I spent 2 years here learning some of their best works. It's where my wardrobe of infinite holding comes from. If we see one for sale and you have an extra 10 mil or so on hand I say pick it up." With a flash of red eyes and a pearly white smile his skin turned black again.

( Stage magic. A little makeup, some prosthetic and a little illusion magic and Beni can easily pass for almost any race in his size category. Don't ask him to do dwarf. Its very hard to explain why your beard just fell off with out everyone yelling plague and running out of the pub.

Lily watched Zark some and smirked. While he was getting less dressed in weapons she told Luna to stay on the ship. The last thing she needed was to have to worry about the small cat running off and getting killed here. With a disgruntled cat left behind Lily bounced to Benvolio's side. she looked him over a moment and smirked,"Very nice and do you speak drow too?"

Vhaidra smirked at Benvolio's disguise but it worried her some too. "Do they not take well to regular elves?" She knew rumors good enough but that didn't mean all of them were true. At least she hoped they weren't all as bad as everyone said... she wanted to get in touch with her other side of the gene pool as well, instead of jsut knowing all about dragons. which she felt apart of but understandably held some things diffrently about thier opinions of everything and themselves for the most part.

Maybe if she was full dragon she would consider herself great and be a bit more prideful. Not that she couldn't get into those moods but never as bad as her mother or any dragon in fact.

Vhaidra seem to think on that but it did not stop her excitement of being here and walking around and seeing others that looked just like her. She was happy to know as well for drow standards she was still rather pretty and her wear seemed more appropriate here too.
She wondered if she had subconsiously always like it because of her drow side. Grabbing Tira she smirked,"Come on we were going to go shopping right? We can't stay with Valen if we are shopping for him."
She kinda wnated to get away from the guys or none of the other drow men would relaly look at her. Although maybe for that Tira wasn't best company. it wouldn't be the first time she had been jealous of Tira's looks. It would crush her if Tira got approached and she did not. As selfish as it sounded and was.

Lily could tell what Valen meant it was a bloody scent and she gave off a small sneeze because of it. she decided dark alleys in this place was a definete no no. And stuck closer to Benvolio.

Suddenly left out of the shopping spree Benvolio hung his head in dejection. " Yes Lily I do speak Drow, and more then enough under common to get by." Marshaling his determination Benvolio rallied for his Pro shopping counterattack. " Say... Lily. You know If we could still catch them if we hurry, And if you scruff up your hair a little and let a bit of the Wolf out I bet you will find all sorts of people actually like you for being a Were around here. We are on the darker side of civilization now. What do you say." If he had been born a puppy Beni would have been doing the whole big eyes please feed me look.


( Haha elf Bishi counterattack Take that emo vampire boy. I kid but really I want to meet the circus.)

Tira thought for a moment about having Lily and Benvolio come along. "Well this is just perfect!" She said in an excited and non-sarcastic tone, "Beni's flare for parties is only outshone by own, together this will be the best party ever!!!"

Balthier, Valen, Julian, and Zark went the other direction to the large library. When they arrived they saw that it was a magnificent structure, similar to the majestic buildings in the south on Ellyrion, except this was darker. It was also adorned with many sculptures of giant spiders, half spider people, and beautiful naked dark elf statues. They entered and inside were many tall, and long aisles of ancient tomes, scrolls, and books. Most of the people inside were priestesses and sorcerers since the majority of the books were about history, legends, and magic.

Valen found where the section on ancient legends was from a librarian and then they went to that area. Most of the books here were very old, dating back to the time of the great fall, but that was exactly the time period he was looking for. "Look for anything pertaining to Lolth and her fall into the Netherworld. Specifically anything on the Tear of Lolth," Valen said to Julian. Zark of course had no chance of reading anything at all, and Balthier didn't know Drowish.
