I think that Beatrice is the Baudelaire's aunt on their fathers side.... Bertand and Beatrice = Brother and Sister. Input anyone?

I still think that she might be the Baudelaire's mother.. An aunt sounds likely too though.

Neuneu Then Lemony is the Baudelaires father? 1.Why do you have that picture at the beginning and end of every post? 2. No. Lemony could've loved her without being married to her.

Neuneu Then Lemony is the Baudelaires father? It says numerous times in the books and the biography that because of an article in the Daily Punctilo, Beatrice thought Lemony was dead, and so probably married the Baudelaire father but Lemony still loved her.

I think maybe she was killed because she knew something about the sugar bowl and/or Olaf. That would explain why she died in a fire.
I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS! I KNOW SHE LOVED LEMONY THE WHOLE TIME!!! crying my theory is that she thought Lemony Snicket was dead so she left him for somebody else, and then she died before she knew that he was actually alive. but that's pure speculation... Wouldn't that sad if it were true?

I think she was just Lemony's girlfried. I havent read the 12th book so I dont know if there are any clues in there, but I just think she perished in a fire and then Lemony had nothing to live for except write about the Baudelaires.

It would be very sad. sad

Here's what we know about Beatrice:
1. Lemony Snicket loved her. 2. She's dead. 3. She stole Esme's sugar bowl at some point. 4. Her house was burned down. 5. She married someone who wasn't Snicket. 6. She and Lemony were going to get married, and were apparently warned not to go. 7. She was an actor. 8. She was in VFD. 9. She shares some of the same traits as the Baudelaires' mother. 10. Captain Widdershins showed her a disturbing article about Lemony Snicket. 11. The Baudelaire orphans don't recognize her name. 12. She was mentioned along with the Baudelaire's parents at the end of the eleventh book. 13. A news article (#10?) from The Daily Punctilio made her think Lemony was dead.

Jehosaphat 10. Captain Widdershins showed her a disturbing article about Lemony Snicket. It says in I beleive the Carnivorous Carnival that Snicket says something along the lines of "and the Daily Punctilo also published a misleading headline many years ago which lead a woman I loved to beleive I was dead." My guess would be that's the disturbing article but your theory's possible too, didn't think of that.

You know what, I guess you're right. I bet the article Captain Dubya showed everyone was the obituary. Lemme edit my list.
