is something that holds all your darkest fears.
is a thing that embodies temptation.
is a form of immortal beauty none can match.
is an abomination that thrives in fear.
is capable of rending apart the world.
can control you. Body. Heart. And soul.
BUT WILL YOU LET IT?
I think that's the question we all ask...
The year is unnumbered - back in the day were days needn't be named and the weeks needn't be counted.
These are the days where the only thing mattered was if it was day... or if it was night.
Because everybody knows now - when the night descends, they come.
You know.
The vampires.
These days are the glorious golden ages of their kind - when they ruled and humans were merely sheep, objects of lust and food and thrill. They are the terrors of the night.
Of course, this is is assuming they are true.
I'm talking about the first to walk through the night. The first to walk beneath the moon. The first to taste the blood.
THE ANCIENTS.
The unlucky humans in the city of Zeperazal have unknowingly planted their roots at the base of a mountainous vampric stronghold.
Of course, this wouldn't be a problem if said vampire wasn't an ANCIENT. This wouldn't be a problem for the priests and the hunters and the magic and the silver bullets.
But the poor people found out too late.
When they tried to tear down the castle, it rebuilt itself overnight. When they tried to go in and hunt the creature, the heads were returned on a silver platter made by the hunters' bullets. When they sent in a priest, his mutilated body was dropped off on the steps of the church, with a mocking, threatening message carved into the poor man's back.
Oh yes, they were dealing with an ANCIENT.
And they realized it too late.
Now, they are at the mercy of the hunted. The prey has now become the predator, and the village of Zeperazal at the heart of it.
What will become of the poor village now? Especially now that their most promising hunter - a prodigy, if you will - has been stolen by the vampire? And what happens when said prodigy doesn't want to leave? No matter how much he despises his new, self-proclaimed owner?
Now that you know the story, let's begin. Ladies and gentlemen, this is...

Quite determined, compassionate with humans, he has a very optimistic view on the people's lives, that each and every one of us deserves a chance. But then a lot of times, he hides his true feelings, regarding that he is in the midst of a war, where such feelings he believes must be kept.

The wind was quite peacful, and so was the moon looking over the trees that swayed peacful with the evening breeze. But it was different, they were the only things that were peaceful. Trunks had been tracked with crimson water on them as I ran from him. Single-handedly took them one by one, with all us 12 who went there. I did not realize an anciet could do something like that.. It's- a monster. Things were really stirring up by Frances' head as he fleed into the woods, running with only one aim-- escaping the one man brutality that shred his group with only his hands, right in front of him, as if the being wanted him alone. His long ebony colored hair trailed behind his flowing white robes. "Th.. this can't be.." He murmured to himself as he took a step, treading into the darkness hoping he has escaped. "Shoot.. Aren't any of them left??" He stopped, looking around for any trak of life from his brigade. "S.. Seems I am on my own here.." His heart skipped a beat as those words passed his pale lips, in fear, as his voice started to shake, having tight grasps on his two katanas.

The Ancient chuckled darkly, lightly liking the blood from his fingers with a visible relish, gazing at Frances from where he stood between the trees.
"Heheh..."
A wind whistled through the trees.
"No." He moved slowly, leisurely, through the trees, closer to the last remaining member of the troops that had been sent to butcher him. "None are left."
He stepped into view, blood staining his clothes, dripping down his arms, soaking his skin.
"Only you. How does it feel?"
He grinned lopsidedly, his upper lip twitching sporadically. A single canine gleamed beneath the moonlight. His voice boomed maliciously through the trees.
"How does it feel to be alone?"

Frances stood in horror as his worst fear has come-- alone with this.. monster. He took a step back, as the gentle gushes of wind took hold of his white robe that gleamed from the moon's elusive beams. His hair frolicked slowly by the evening breeze as his eyes remained calm, but his heart jumped almost every beat, as he see the ancient right before his very eyes.
"Wh.. What do you want..?"
He still tried to remain calm, knowing it might be his last moments in life.
"G.. Go on.. finish me, like how you murdered my all!"
He tried to huff his voice up, gathering all the courage left of his'.

There was a severed head near his foot. Raising his leg, he crushed it beneath his heel, never lifting his gaze from Frances.
"You're wondering what I want? Isn't it obvious?" He grin widened. "I want excitement. Can you give it to me?"

He took another step as the sadistic being appeared right before him
as he talked. He looked at the trees before exchanging glances with the vampire, seemingly bravering the what might be his last of moments. "Y.. You here to finish the last of what you think of as.. d.. dogs..?" He remained calm, where he might even try to buy him some time. "M.. Might as well kill me now before the others come to my aid, th.. they're here" he knew the others were gone, trying to even fool the ancient as his numbered ways of getting away from this pale-skinned murderer's grasp.

The white robed man with long hair of black swaying through the evening breeze took a step back as he started to sweat little grans by his forehead.
I'm gonna have to play risk with this guy if I want to escape
Or so he said to himself.
Fraces immediately took a dagger in grasp and hurled it towards the pale-skinned lunatic with a sadistic smile on his face, giving him ample time to twist himself to the left, as he dashed away, cracking twigs as his hair frolicked wildly by the wind, treading the forest, sprinting everything he has to escape the monstrosity.

The shadows seemed to move, following Frances, as if running alongside him.
As if playing with him.
Just as Frances seemed to near the 'safety' of the edge of the forest, Alucard reappeared, dropping down from the branches and rising from the ground at the same time, seeming to meet in the middle.
He smiled.
"Now, now, this isn't excitement," he stated, stepping forward, forcing Frances back deeper into the trees. "This is merely cat and mouse, tag, a pathetic game of hide and seek. I want excitement, human."
The sword rose, pressed against Frances' chin.
"And it's going to happen, with or without you."

Frances froze in his already fear-filled body, gasping as how the ancient chased him with ease.
He took a gulp as the sword of his poked his throat. Having his wielded swords lighten in grip. He would try to surrender onto him for now, waiting for a chance before he can escape, there was really no way of escaping by just outrunning him. "A.. And what kind of excitement does bid you..?" He spoke in a seemingly calm voice, aside from the fact that his heart could pop in fear any minute, having his hands flung sideways a bit.

The sword moved, the flat edge sliding harmlessly across Frances' shoulder, the arm holding it curling around the back of his neck to hold the blade to the boy's throat as the Ancient neared him, their noses now nearly touching.
Alucard's grin widened.
