The bible states the sun revolves around the earth. Disproven (obviously). The bible states that rock badgers and rabbits chew cud. Obviously a fallacy. They state that bats are birds. It states that there are some insects that have 4 legs (all insects have 6 legs). The bible claims the earth has four corners and edges, or in other words is flat. It claims that there are 4 legged animals which can fly. It claims speech didn't evolve but was created in the Babel mythology. 1 Sam 2:8 even claims the earth rests on pillars (you know, because it's flat... needed some table legs to hold it up.) The bible claims that people who believe in Christ shall be able to survive the bites of poisonous snakes. The bible has been proven false in many places. So what makes it that the rest of it is true?

Aight, aight. I wanted to get the whole thing out but hang on...
---
1 Sam 2:8 - The verse says nothing of pillars. It reads...
"He (God) raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.
'For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's; upon them he has set the world.'"
This verse isn't asserting that the Earth is sitting on some form of foundation (whatever that is...?) It is saying that, well, God is in control of the earth. Basically, I don't know how to further explain this.
Also, the Bible ACTUALLY talks of the Earth being "suspended on nothing." And wow! It is!
I'll have to find the verse as the internet isn't helping me. It's in the Book of Job though (which happens to be one of the oldest books in the OT)

bleh internet sources failure. However i do know that the bible says bats are birds and that the sun revolves around the earth (or at least can be interpreted that way) and the bugs have 4 legs.
And 100% of the bible is true and all scientists are wrong? Shame on you.

Yeah, I think I remember at one point it including bats with birds, but I'd like to double check. I've never heard of a geocentric orbit in the Earth. And neither the bugs.
But, wait. How would he bugs thing be illogical?
And lol. You said "Shut up Atheist, your ruining the guild!" to yourself? Um... Hello?
The reason I said that was because your contradictions aren't, well, right? o-0
I laugh at many of the contradictions Atheist pull out of their hats. The reason? Many are an allegorical expression not meant to be taken as a serious statement.

I fail at clicking XD The bugs would be illogical because no insect has less that six legs. And if it was not in the bible why was it commonly accepted in the church of the 1200-1700 when the church ran completely off the bible.

Leviticus 11:20-23
20 " 'All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you. 21 There are, however, some winged creatures that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground. 22 Of these you may eat any kind of locust, katydid, cricket or grasshopper. 23 But all other winged creatures that have four legs you are to detest.
I don't see anything contradictory here... O:

Anyways, the Binomial Nomenclature classifying system, and the Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Genus, Species hadn't been established yet. (imagine that).
Therefore, they were considered insects.

Do you not realize God doesn't go by human standards? We classify organisms differently than God may. Lol.
