What exactly constitues a "lolita" doll...I see trends in the dolls I see but I've been looking for specifics and possibly where I can find inspirational pictures of that nature.

Thats a good question, I've been wondering the samething myself.
I have noticed that they all seem to wear victorian style dresses and are childish, with a dark twist
But Im not positive about that
