I'm curious...as to how people in this guild fight. Do you let your emotions lead you through battle? Do you make them your strength? Or do you keep your emotions locked up, and fight calmly and collected?

I really am not sure what I do. I lose myself when I fight, so I don't really pay much attention to it.

I never fought anybody in this guild. If someone is being an idiot or I just know they're full of s**t, I ignore them. Because it's the ineternet. No biggie. So I use logic in this case. In real life, I will pwn you. I use my emotions, my past experiences (if it matches the topic), and logic in an agrument.

Well if you mean in real life of fighting then I usually hide my emotions until I can't anymore. So when my emotion of rage comes out I use it to my advange. But I also think about how I use it. I dont just go and swing my fist's and use my broot strength. I use my skills and knowledge of my opponite and look around my surroundings to see what would be of use.

My emotions fuel me in my battles. However, I still remain calm and collected...it's entertaining to see your opponent lose control of their emotions and lash out. Then again, you already know what my style is, don't you?

My apologies, I suppose I wasn't clear enough. I meant to say how you fight in real life.

Eyusuiya~

Yes, I am very aware of how you fight...although, you do still keep your emotions locked up. Are you afraid of your own emotions, Eyu?

I dont normally fight people...but if i am fighting to win, my emotions stay locked away and i remain focused on what needs done. if i am panicked...my emotions go everywhere, completely uncontrolled.

Oh, well in that case..

When an arguement even gets slightly ouy of control, my body tends to get ready for a fist fight that might not even happen.A huge adreniline rush goes through my body. I shake, my speech gets jumbled, so I usually walk away before it gets worse. BUT, it gives me an edge if a fight does happen. Because the adreniline is already going through me, I don't feel it when I'm hit and the adrenline stays for so long when the fight is over that I don't even feel the after pain, plus I heal fast.

I'm most dangerous is when -I- lose control. It only happened twice out of the five fights I had. My sight goes red and I'm not consious of what I'm doing. Another side of me takes over my brain. All the pent up anger, sadness, and hatred is released upon my opponant. When I come back to consiousness, my opponant is pretty messed up. Chapel gave a name for it but I totally forgot. sweatdrop Sorry man.

That is for me to know as I have many ways of dealing with others. However I don't share them openly but only to those who have been dealt with can only guess as to what truely happened.

I keep my emotions in control when fighting weaker opponents. But for those who are my strength I let my emotions out, connect to my opponent's emotions and feelings, and use them to power me. I become calm and uncontroling. When they attack I will calmly avoid their attacks, when attacking I hit weak points, joints, stomach, chest, and other point to drop them, but not kill. When fighting to kill, I will do much of the same, but aim for vitals. The throat, Temple, bridge of the Nose, and other spots that I will not mention. My strength will always surpass my enemies'.

Lets see.... How do I fight.... Well.... Depends on the situation and who I'm fighting.... Normally, for the sake of making it last longer cause I enjoy a fight, I will keep myself in a happy and carefree mood and have fun. I'll let blows land, barely hit back substantially and never aim for anything besides the strongest points on their body. I also will match myself as closely as possible to my opponents strength, speed and skill level. When I need to win the fight at all costs and protect someone, I will let my anger bubble over while controlling it and completely devastate them, destroying them in the quickest and easiest way available. When in a serious fight though, when time isn't of the essence.... That is when I fight with no emotion.... I seal and trap it all within and calm myself... When I fight then.... Well.... That's for everyone to find out... If they think they can prove to me they are an "equal".

So, on the topic of fighting, what style of fighting do all of you follow or what style is most like yours? Did you go to formal training or develop it on your own?

My aunt's ex boyfriend taught me how to punch when I was 13. I'm a heavy puncher, but I can change it to swift, open-palm punches and quick kicks that can knock you off your feet. I'm self-taught, mainly learned my stuff from DBZ >:}

Nice. Hmm... I suppose I'll post mine a while... With my punches I borrow a lot from boxing style of throwing punches. I'm a heavy puncher but I lack explosive power, instead I make up for it with strength endurance. I can deliver a very lengthy volley of heavy punches. I'm capable of swifter punches but I'm not nearly as adept at them. I've also incorporated very heavy palm thrusts from chinese kempo. Though they are designed more for pushing my opponent back rather than damage. I've also taken the theory of a continuous flowing rhythm from Capoeira and incorporated it. I've also looked into various Jujitsu and Aikido throws that I've been incorporating as well as various submission holds from each. Another thing I've included is a few basic balanced stances as well as movements and theories from Karate. One of the last things, and possibly largest things, I've incorporated is Muay Thai. From there I've incorporated their elbow strikes as well as a few of their punches. I've also incorporated their "cinch" maneuver in which the hands are locked a certain way behind the neck and pulls the head down so that you can knee them in the face for a knock-out. I've also taken their general way of knee striking as well as various form of their kicks, including their form of a roundhouse using their shins. Also, keep in mind this is all self-taught through movies, anime, manga and research.... Oh and the final component is that I've incorporated the basic street fighting I first learned fighting in back allies...

I would like to learn Tai Kwan Do, for its calm smooth techniques, with a little bit of Isshin Ryu karate for the sharp, quick, and snappy like attacks, and incorporate it with what I like major to be-boxing. I would like to take classes for one art and self teach the others. It's hard as hell fishing out anything good on the interwebs. >.>
