The room that housed the Shinigami Men's Association was not a very luxurious one. But at this particular moment, sounds not akin to that of humanly body functions were wafting through the door. If one were to enter, they would find Captain Ekibyou Neppa, the leader of the Squad 11 and president of the SMA, topless with some very stylish sunglasses on: dark as night, rectangular, and rimless. Now quickly after seeing him, one would then find the source of the noise. Around his body was a strap holding up a cherry wood Gibson SG, one akin to the lead guitarist of a favourite Australian rock band of his. What he was playing was something original. Or he was just jamming, who knew...

Karixa detected music. She was good at that, and considering her Zanpaku-tou, she better have good hearing. Lucky for her it came from the Men’s Shinigami Association room, so she could guess who was playing. She popped in and confirmed that the President was playing on his guitar, so she took a spot in the room and started to listen. It made her wish she had her viola on her, but she didn’t mind too much. It was just nice to listen and see how well Neppa took to freestyle. Sounded good. She waited for him to be done to speak, not wanting to stop the music. “Nice tune.” She grinned mischievously and said, “So Mr. President, are you waiting for a meeting to start?”

The corner of Neppa's mouth cricked into a grin at the compliment. He hadn't stopped playing, rather just trailed off into a slow, bluesy-jazzy sound. It was fun to play and slow enough to talk without having to focus on it too much. "I guess. I just wanted a little place along to practice, but since you showed up, might as well." What he had started playing was something that stuck in his heads occasionally. It had a feeling like you were in a western town, one open to what ever you wanted to do. It dragged on a bit, but that was the nature of the blues. "Why don't you get ready and I'll inform them that we are having a meeting."

Karixa chuckled a bit with the music and all, and then nodded. “Alrighty.” She rummaged around on her person for a moment then got a pair of shades out. She put them on the table and got to getting her outer wear off. Karixa was a bit weird since she had layers of clothes that she wore all the time. Her brown vest was easy enough, that came off easily. Under that was a full coat that had the lovely high collar she liked so much. She pulled that off and draped it around herself. The color of the tank top underneath was a lighter gray, which was the only gray she ever wore. She put her shades on and dumped her excess clothing in the corner, finishing her preparations. Her shades were very thin, and had a habit of falling farther down her nose then she liked, so she was constantly looking over them rather then through them. Well she kept pushing them up whenever she could. “Ready for the meeting President!” She took a spot and pushed her sunglasses up so that she could actually look through them. She liked sunglasses. They did not return the favor.

It wasn't very long before Nakamura Tadashi reported in, sporting a pair of dark teashades. "Got the message," he said casually, "Heard we were starting a meeting?" He paused, listening to the captain's music. It'd been a while since he'd last heard a guitar. Sure beat the shamisen.
"Diggin' the music, Ekibyou-taichou."

It wasn't before long that Neppa heard the voice of Nakamura. They were in different squads, which made if obvious as to why he used his surname. "Just call me Neppa." He kept with the bluesy tunes, he felt in a laid back mood. Most of the stuff he had been listening to recently was a bit heavier. But sometimes, you needed to get back to the basics. So he continued to play his laid back blues in his laid back stance in the front, center of the room.

Tokuzen, carrying his zanpakuto in hand, walked into the room that housed the Shinigami Men's Association. This wasn't his first meeting, but he hadn't exactly shown up each time a meeting was held. At this point, he had only gone three times, including this time. "Yo, Neppa. I showed up this time, so no complaining." Tokuzen called. This time, he was not only shirtless, like he was supposed to be, but pants-less as well. He wore boxers he had taken from a store on earth, with hearts and smiley faces speckled all over them. He also donned a pointy, triangular pair of sunglasses. Without a word to anyone else, he took his seat, apparently waiting for the meeting to begin.

Two more members of the SMA arrived, the former she did not know as well. The later she knew a little bit better, mostly since he was Neppa’s second. He also was currently without pants. Karixa grinned like she always did and refrained from a chuckle. Tokuzen was very entertaining. Certainly a nice diversion until the meeting began. She wondered idly if someone was supposed to ask him why he wasn’t wearing pants. If someone was, it was not going to be her. Why? Simple. Far too entertaining to bother with. She leaned back in her chair and her sunglasses slipped down. She frowned and let them stay there for a minute as she took time to glare at her sunglasses. Then she pushed them up where they belonged.

Tokuzen's arrival ended up with a note going flat. It was just one, and Neppa caught it and continued on key again. A disgruntled sigh left his lips, but he decided to push back the urge to hit Tokuzen. "And why aren't you wearing any pants? Plan on duct taping weights to your legs again?" After asking, Neppa brought his attention back to his guitar and flicked a couple of knobs and switches to turn the amplifier off of the distortion. A crisp acoustic sound was coming through and Neppa changed his style from the blues to flamenco. He'd played a little before and needed some practice, so he though now would be a good time.

"Pants are a thing of the past, Neppa. Get with the times already, ya old b*****d." Tokuzen snapped. The fact was, he already had duct taped weights to his legs, made evident by the total lack of hair on them. Unfortunately, when he took them off, he couldn't find his pants. "Or maybe you're just taking advantage of my lack of pants so you can check me out? Don't worry, though, I ain't mad 'atcha." As soon as he finished speaking, he sneezed, before wiping the slobber on his boxers.

Must resist laughter. Resistance was futile. Karixa’s laughter was some what suppressed by her face being planted directly into the table in front of her. Yes, laughing at two squad eleven members was not the best idea, but she couldn’t help it. After she had let some of the loudest laughter get out she stuck her head back up and got some air. She looked like she wasn’t going to laugh again, then stuck her head back into the table and laughed some more. She caught he breath again and waited a moment to see if that was it. Yeah, ok she was done. She pushed her sunglasses up her face again and grinned like always. She knew there was a reason she wanted to stay in the Men’s Association. Because it was hilarious.

Neppa stopped playing the guitar and dove his hand into his left handed palm. By far, Tokuzen was just about the worst squad member ever. The problem was that he showed results. Compared to the other people, in his squad, he was far more advanced. When Tokuzen wiped his snot all over his boxers, that just made it worse. The tattoo on Neppa's left arm began to flicker more and more, definitely showing that he was near the boiling point. Which means, of course, that Karixa didn't help. She was definitely laughing at the two of them, not just Tokuzen. He was trying to restrain himself from killing her, too. "One more word and you won't get a mix tape when I'm done."

Before snickering to himself, Tokuzen gestured towards Karixa. "See? SEE!? She's LAUGHING at your ignorance of the current styles! ...And your weird-looking tattoo. It's just nasty when old guys have tattoos... tryin' to score some young chicks, aren'tcha?" He replied. "And I don't even HAVE a tape player! ....Or any player, for that matter..." Now, Tokuzen was just pushing Neppa's buttons. But, luckily, he knew one thing: Neppa couldn't kill him with all these witness around... could he?

Whoops. The pot was boiling over. She looked at Neppa through her sunglasses, visibly displeased. She hadn’t said anything anyway. Of course she wasn’t going to say that. Not out load anyway. She would also not say he was being a spoilsport. Again, not out loud. She would behave herself, for the sake of music. Well, as well as she could ever behave. Karixa really had issues with not laughing at the wrong time. Lucky she was half being bribed. Tokuzen on the other hand looked like he was not tempted with tape and kept going. Curse the hilariousness of squad eleven’s vice-captain. If Neppa killed Tokuzen, she would be watching. And it would be awesome. Well, for her to watch anyway. Tokuzen might be in pain. Though she figured that he would put up a decent fight.
