First lesson then, while we wait for the second apprentice. An old Sith spell used to find something lost. Anything you touch has a connection to you. You must see the connection in the Force and follow it back to the lost thing. The key to success is to focus on what emotions and feelings you connect to whatever you've lost while seeing it in your mind's eye. It's rather simple once mastered. The trick is finding the right connection. They feel like... I guess you could say like tethers. Some are stronger than durasteel, others are extremely fragile and hard to follow. It's a good concentration exercise and lets me see what your expertise is at.

You should start seeing threads in the Force. They should all be attached to you. I would be surprised if you could see the tethers attached to other people. That's much harder and requires greater discipline and concentration. Hold the image of the object in your mind and concentrate on the emotions and feelings attached to it. That particular thread should become clear.

-opens eyes and uses telekinesis to pull it- yep I saw it, I have read about this threads but never used them before.

Hmmm... well done. I thought it would be especially hard for you, Jedi, since your kind teaches to get rid of emotion. How does it go again? Oh, yes, "There is no emotion. There is peace." Or some such drivel like that. A Sith is very in tune with her emotions. Or, in your case, his emotions. Happiness, anger, sadness, playfulness, any emotion at all. Unfortunately, many power-hungry Sith use their anger at the universe to channel their focus and use the Force. They have skewed the ancient techniques into tools of destruction. -stands- Come. We must go to the temple of Exar Kun. He demonstrates my meaning most effectively. And there, you may learn your next lesson.
PostPosted: Fri Jul 17, 2009 11:16 am

*follows you* The old and true Jedi code says: There is emotion, yet peace. So, has you can image, I, rely on love and other emotions for my life. I just don't let them controlling me...

Ah... Perhaps that is why the Sith fell before the Jedi. Many of them don't realize that using your emotions isn't the same as letting them control you. That was Vader's mistake, as well as Palpatine. Vader allowed his anger and love for his precious ones direct his actions, which made him extremely predictable. Palpatine allowed his greed to control him. Maybe Sith and Jedi aren't so different after all... Ah, here we are. You must enter the Temple of Exar Kun alone. Forget all your Jedi teachings and enter with new eyes. Exar Kun's spirit doesn't take kindly to the Light. When you are done, return and tell me what you learned.

Wait?... did you jsut said "Exar Kun"? *does a O_O face* I'm doomed...I came from a long line of Jedi, and my anserters were responsable for the extension of the Sith when he was living in this world.

I gave you a command. Are you defying it? This is yet another test, apprentice. I would appreciate it if you didn't die here. It would be such a waste of talent. Now, off you go! I'll be right here, waiting.
