That the American idol judge Randy Jackson played bass guitar for the band journey from 1985-1987.What are some other interesting facts you know about the band?

yeah that was during the raised on radio tour.
Did you know the song that got Steve Perry in the band was 'if u need me call me' ?

Also, did you know that Steve Perry joined JRNY in 1977(SP's first albim W/ JRNY was Infinity in 197 cool . JRNY actually didn't want a lead singer. When Steve first joined JRNY he lived w/ Neal Schon for awhile.
I'm full of facts.......I know from 1977 to 2009 about Steve Perry. I know from 1977 to 1998(when Steve Left) about JRNY.

I think he was 28....unless my math is wrong. he said when he was 20 he started writing songs.

I did a report on Journey. Heres some facts....
They formed in 1973 in San Fransisco, California
There first performance was in the Winterland Ballroom in 1973
Gregg Rolie and Neal Schon r from Santana
There first album with Steve Perry was Infinity (which was also there 1st sucussful album)
They were the first 70s' rock group 2 go digital
They realeased 2 albums in 1980
There last album with Steve Perry was Trail By Fire
There last tour with Steve Perry was Raised On Radio
There manager was Herbie Herbet (but not anymore. Now it's the Eagles manager)
Steve Perry had a bone disease, and fell and broke his hip while hiking(he didn't undergo hip surgery crying )
Wow. Steve Perry used 2 live with Neal Schon.... Wow. Interesting..

Steve didnt hav a bone disease...he was workin out....and he had hurt himself.....he did hav surgery.....thats y he got kickd out. they didnt want to wait 4 him 2 recover so they could tour.

Whats up with bands and there lead singers supposedly wrecking their tours these days. I mean did any one hear about that aerosmith incedint?
