it's unfair to all lead singers that come second because they can never really compare to the 1st 1. like with Steve and Arnel or with David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. they will never be cansidered as good.

i like both of them but i like arnel more because back when i knew a little about journey i didn't know who steve perry was and i just got the revelation disc. when i heard that he was the former singer of journey i searched for him on youtube and i thought he was a bad singer. i start to compare the both of them and start liking steve perry, but i still like arnel! if u listen to them and compare them every single day, yes that's how obsessed i am with journey, u hear that arnel doesn't sound like perry. well, in my opinion.

But when he sings the old songs(EX: Open Arms) its not the same. He is good but NOT Steve Perry good. Like I said before...you choose who you choose.
