It is here that lies the Great gates of sand. The gates are extremly large, (reaching to the top of the crevice), and instead of a wooden gate, there is a quicksand wall. shinobi must walk through the wall to get into the village. The quicksand wall can be turned into a wall of rock by the kage in a time of need.
