NORTHERN FOREST

This forest is the northern part of the forest, located not far from town. Its the easiest place to find, as well as get through. Here there are large mountains, rising up high. These mountains are usually covered in snow, and new snow is almost always falling down on them. The higher you get on the mountain, the less air there is. So be careful, but hiking with your animal is always fun. The North Forest leads to the Western, Eastern, and Southern parts of the forest.

Adrian Waldgrave & Ava

Adrain wandered form town into the forest. He was rather bored today and just was wandering what they could do. Looking at a map of the forest and towns he began to wander what there was to do. Since Ava had wandered off to find some meat, he was left in a rock in the middle of the forest. He started at the map waiting for Ava to return.
Ava appeared back form her hunting trip with a half burnt buck. She loved using her fire ability's to burn things and smiled to Adrain. When she put it at his feet she smiled and sat there proud "Here we go, real food Adrain" She stated to him with a smile, so proud of herself.
Adrain looked at Ava and examined the buck some. She had done a good job and he approved of it "Yes its real food. Now lets cut it up so we can take it with us, you can cook each piece" He stated as he began to cut the buck up into pieces so they could bring it as jerky, since it was best like that. Rather then raw which could kill you.

Nastya Tarasov & Pon

After wandering awhile longer in the City and finding nothing of interest, Nastya decided the day would better be spent in the mountains practicing magic. If she couldn't find anyone to fight with, she would fight with the mountain, that would be interesting. She had Pon land near the base of one of the less steep mountains and they started climbing. Nastya enjoyed climbing, it was a focus of mental and physical energy and it took time. Time was something she always had too much of. It was cool and open on the mountains, which she preferred to the heat and density of other parts of the island. "We should do this more often, Pon" she said grabbing onto a ledge and pulling herself up.
Pon was half flying half climbing up the mountain right below Nastya ready to catch her if she fell. "It is a way to keep you out of trouble. I enjoy a good fight now and then, but by nature we griffins keep to ourselves and really don't go starting fights. He jumped with ease up to the flat ledge Nastya had just reached. His claws digging into the rock and giving him a grip on the steep incline before he launched himself up.
"There is a wider ledge further up. We'll stop there." There were less places to grab onto if you didn't have claws so Pon climbed up first and Nastya held onto his back. A few more feet and they reached the Ledge Nastya had mentioned. She climbed off his back and looked out over the forest before them.
"There are hiking trails Nastya. We don't always have to take the most difficult path up the mountain. I wouldn't want anything to happen to you."
"I am thankful for your concern. However, you know that I won't take those little trails through the woods. Would you like to spar?" She put her hand in front of her and turned her palm face up, a slight wind blew around Pon and ruffled his feathers.
Pon responded with a stronger breeze that blew around his master and tossed her loose hair around her. Nastya gave a knowing smile and the spar started, each exchanging a magic attack stronger than the last in their good natured game of chicken.

Adrian Waldgrave & Ava

Adrain finished up cutting his meat and put his meat away. Well after he had cooked it. He stroked Ava's head and then stood. Both of them began to walk off to somewhere. Where they do not know

Sagitta & Hydra

It was cold, and the ground was covered in snow, the perfect place to intimidate someone into paying up. Sagitta smirked as she looked down, currently sitting upon her partner Hydra, whom was several feet taller than Sagitta's customer.

"I promise to pay you back soon Sagitta, times are hard right now and I'm trying everything I can to obtain money."Sagitta shook her head in disapproval, this was the third time Thomas, her customer, had not paid her by the due date and she was becoming slightly annoyed.
"Do you think I should grace you once more? This is the third time Thomas, I will not wait any longer."

"Can I ssstun him now Sssagitta?" Hyrda asked slithering her S's like most snakes do, she was hungy to turn someone into stone. She hadn't done so in so long, and she was craving to see one more person just freeze. "Mm no, not today Hydra." Sagitta replied feeling a little generous today, more than usual really. "I will give you one more chance Thomas, only one. Because I know how hard the times are these days, I understand the pain you're going through. You have till next week, see you then." Sagitta lightly kicked Hydra's sides, signalling it was time to leave the area. "Let's go Hydra" Sagitta looked behind her, to the man she was close to killing but didn't, he looked very happy but very worried at the same time. Knowing if he didn't come up with his fee, he would be dead next week.

I must be leaving now, but I admire your ways. Roleplaying - well, writing in general takes a certain magic, and it's definitely a work of art.)

Walking though the woods looking rather scared and lost, a young girl hugged a egg and a pack she had. Staring at the forest as she wandered though it she wished that there was some way to get out of here. But she had no idea where she was, or even how to survive, all she had was some cloths water, and the egg. Staring at the egg some she sighed softly "Come on Sinclare. Lets go" She stated feeling the egg respond to her she smiled softly. She was so glad she had left her family and her house, even if she was lost and scared it didn't matter.

On her way though the woods she spotted a girl and a guy. She thought they would know her so she hid in the bushes to hide, and listen to see if they were going to come and find her. Holding her egg as it shook in her arms sensing how scared she was the young ten year old girl stared at the people and tried not to shake and give away where she was. If there was one thing she learned, it was how to hide. She did it often when she didn't want to be with her family or the maids. Watching the people the girl kept quite, and very still watching.

Ailea looked around the forest as Shika led her into it, smiling a bit. It was so peaceful... "It's great..." She sat down in front of a tree.
Yuki curled up on her lap and purred in content.
Ailea laughed and gently pet her white dragon, running her fingers over her smooth scales. It was rare that she was able to relax like this... She didn't want it to stop...

Nastya Tarasov & Pon

"Enough" Nastya gasped. With Pon's last attack she had almost fallen off the ledge. She panted, exhausted from using so much magic. She would never win this game for Pon was far too strong and more advanced in magic than she.
"I'm pleased, you are growing stronger Nastya." The griffin said walking up to her. He rubbed his feathery head against her slender, pale arm. "Let's find a place to rest, eat and restore our strength."
Nastya ran her fingers through Pon's soft feathers "I believe that would be satisfactory."
She climbed on Pon's back and the large griffin took off into the sky, alighting from the ledge easily. Pon dived toward the ground, paralleling the mountainside; his feet hit the soft, grass clad earth running. He slowed and walked into the heavily wooded forest.
Nastya stretched her arms up toward the umbrella topped trees and yawned. "This place encourages sleep. We should not tarry long." She caught sight of a bird flying low through the trees, it landed on a tree branch and started chirping it's little song as birds do. Nastya pointed her fisted hand toward the bird and opened it swiftly fingers extended and flat. The bird immediately stopped chirping and fell to the ground squealing, flapping its wings uselessly. Nastya watched it with a chilling expression of delight. "Continue walking Pon."
Pon raised his head and walked passed the suffering animal, It would soon be dead anyway. Nastya's internal flame was a slow torture that burned you from the inside out. He was glad she wasn't going to wait til the process was complete, as she normally did.

Ailea looked around slowly but paused when she heard a strange sound. It sounded like a strangled, weak squeak...
She frowned a little and got up, walking off and following the sound of the noise. Soon, she found it, and shuddered at the sight.
A poor little bird, laying on the ground and twitching like it was struggling to breathe. It was... disturbing, to see it so helpless and slowly dying...
Ailea knelt down next to the bird on the ground, eyes saddening. She had a soft spot for animals, and seeing the poor creature suffering...
Subtly she pulled out a flute from her cloak. It was wooden, carved from a branch of a tree with small designs inbedded in the bark.
Ailea lifted it to her lips, her eyes sliding shut as she took a breath, then blew.
A soft, enchanting tune echoed into through the woods, flowing through the trees and into the air. The peaceful sound of the flute seemed to calm nearby creatures.
Yuki purred and perched on her shoulder, flapping her wings once before taking flight and flying around the clearing in bliss. She always loved it when Ailea found time to play her flute. She was very good at it, and her Keeper put her heart and soul into each note she played.
Ailea drowned out the noises around her as she played, finding her own bliss in playing her instrument. She's had it since she was a little girl, before she was moved into the castle after Yuki was born.
If she couldn't help the bird, she could at least try to makes it's passing more peaceful...

Nastya Tarasov & Pon

Pon wandered through the forest with Nastya still perched on his back. Hearing a strange sound carried by the wind he stopped, the atmosphere of the forest had changed. It was calmer, purer, untainted by their presence. "Nastya there is a strange music in the air. Do you hear it?" He asked quietly.
"I hear it well." Nastya looked around the forest, she heard it but could not tell from where it came. This new feeling in the forest, this enticing of good, It was not one to her liking. "Where is it coming from Pon?" She was on the hunt.
"Difficult to tell, however, It seems to be in the direction we just came from." Pon turned and sulked stealthily toward the music.
Nastya slid off Pon's back and ducked in the tall brush. They came to the place they had left the bird, but the creature seemed to be faring better than when they had left it. Nastya glared at the scene. It was disgusting to her, a human helping a small, worthless bird. She found kindness and sympathy altogether Sickening. She stood and walked out from the brush, confronting the girl who played the flute. "I believe that creature is mine." She said pointing a slender finger at the bird, in the sunlight that shown through the trees, her skin looked white.
Pon stayed behind, still slightly hidden in the undergrowth below the trees.

Shika quietly looked up into the sky, with his arms sprawling over the branch he layed. The inside of his arms were facing towards the bushes behind them. A sigh would be emitted from the males mouth, as Hines quietly snored to himself, sleeping. At the moment, his wristband had been up, to where his mark could be fully seen from about 10 feet away. A black mark with pale skin was easy to see. Eyes were not shut, as Shika started to remember the memories of being a real Tunmow.

"You know, being born into royalty is not that easy. There are ceremonies that have to be taken once you are born. You should have seen the Tunmow ceremony, when I was born into the Tunmow family, my sin were taken away a special way the priest did that no one would tell me when I was little. After i ran to my aunts, she finally told me, and it was not something I wanted to know."

Giving a small chuckle at what he had said, he looked over at Hines. At that moment, Hines eyes were quickly opened, and he could sense something was going to happen. At that moment, a noise was herd around the forest, or at least where they were. Seeing Ailea go towards the noise, he would give her a second, and then got down.

"Shika, please do not forget to hide your mark, you would not want to be found out and taken back to the Tunmows now would you?"

Looking over at Hines, he gave a small smile, and quickly covered his mark. Running out towards where Ailea had gone to, he stopped suddenly when he had herd the noise of the flute. The flute was something that Shika had been taught when he was a young boy, and was very good at it. At that moment, he could see Ailea now, and then someone else. Taking out his weapon, he grabbed it and made sure neither side was in a spot where it could n** or touch him if he had to jump out. He quietly listened to see if anything was going to happen, and if it did he would jump out.

Ailea paused in her flute playing and opened her eyes, lowering the wood instrument from her lips and looking up. A young woman stood across from her, eyes cold and skin as pale as snow. She was beautiful, of course, but... her beauty resembled ice, or a mirror.
It only reflected back what she was giving, and it was cold and hard...
Calmly Ailea stood to her feet, her dragon flying back down and landing on her shoulder. "My apologies." She shrugged and looked down at the little bird, crouching down and picking it up gently in her hands. "I heard it crying and saw it suffering. Figured I might as well let it pass on in peace." She smiled at the little bird and very lightly petted it's small head with the tip of her finger.
Ailea turned her emerald eyes back up and looked over the young woman before her. "...Obviously if this bird belongs to you and you left it here to die, you don't care for it much." She raised an eyebrow at her for a moment, frowning. "I could take it off your hands, if you wish..."
Somehow, she just got a bad feeling from her... No kindness radiated from her eyes, no warmth from her words... She was glaring at Ailea with digust in her pure and beautiful eyes...
Yuki watched the woman closely through her ice blue eyes, her tail slowly swaying back and forth. She didn't say anything.
After another moment Ailea shrugged. "Doesn't matter that much to me." She looked away, turning slightly to the side. "If I'm nearby I'll help, but if this bird really belongs to you..." She glanced back at the woman out of the corner of her eyes.
"Then there's really no need to be concerned, right?"
