Yes, stop laughing! Squad 4 members are just as adapt in combat as all the rest. Here is a wide open grassy field, with a few dummies standing about, some targets, and a shed housing a bunch of equipment, such as different varieties of weights. The equipment isn't top quality...Squad 4 isn't entirely "funded" properly for this kind of stuff. The field is perfect for working on your skills alone, or with a group, or for a nice spar.
