Personality: With the constant smile on his face, he acts cheerful to the point where it might get annoying or creepy. Usually both. It's a bit hard to actually be able to tell just what he's thinking behind his mask-like face, and his goal in life is to be constantly amused by life.
Takasugi is also accepting almost to a fault. It's difficult to really shock him with anything. He might be surprised at first, but he'll accept the situtation readily and calmly. They're replacing all the captains. Sure. Arrancar are attacking Seireitei. Okay. His hand's been chopped off. That's a bummer, but he'll have to deal. Would a hook be a little much?
He is also a hopeless drunk. Seriously. Let's get him drunk sometime, he'll change from being a crying drunk to a happy, to violent, to horny, to crying again. Hopeless drunk. It's a wonder that he's never died of alcohol poisoning since he's that intolerant.

Physical Description: Takasugi is tall with a very slender frame. His form, therefore, is also thin with a lithe muscle build. His eyes are rather small, and since he's usually smiling, they almost seem shut most of the time. When "open", the color of the iris is a pale, ice blue. His hair is dark brown, and somewhat wavy.
There are various small, scalpel-made scars all over his body that were left over from his previous life in the human world. There is one small scar that is located over his left jugular, and he has a habit of rubbing the scar absentmindedly. On his chest-abdomen, there is a large Y shaped scar, suggesting that maybe he was a victim of a vivisection as well.
Zanpakuto Name and Sealed Description:Keihansha (Mirror Thorn, Thorn Mirror.)
In the sealed state, the sword appears to be a plain kodachi with a pocket in the crimson sheath for a small, thin knife.

Shikai:Unobtained In the first release state, the kodachi and the knife turn into a pair of hook swords. The "head" of the hook swords are sharpened on both sides, while the "neck" of the hook swords are only bladed on the outer rim. The outer rim of the hand guard also has the blade, but the ends of the hilts are more of spikes to stab with rather than slash.
Keihansha's ability is that any slash made on the body of its opponent, no matter how small, will continue to grow. So the equivalent of a paper cut right above the heart would have impaled the body in 20-30 minutes. The top speed of the slash's "growth" depends on the location of the wound (bone takes longer than fat). The cut will discontinue its growth when either Takasugi commands the effect to stop, Takasugi is no longer conscious, or when Keihansha returns to the kodachi set form.
Bankai: Definitely unobtained
Sora no Kagami; O-Keihansha or Mirror of the Sky; Great Keihansha
In this form, Keihansha's two hook blades become two scythes on a long chain attached to a massive mirror that levitates around Takasugi. The mirror may serve as an shield. The scythes are now telepathically controlled. The kidou abilities of the shikai are kept, and although it seems somewhat useless because it's unlikely that a hit from the scythes wouldn't be fatal, five "spells" can be used from the mirror's reflective side.
1)Jujak: A red bird appears on the mirror's surface. Red energy beams shoot out from the mirror's surface. Requires very little reiatsu, as the mirror acts as a catalyst.
2)Hyeonmu: A black tortoise that looks more like a snake with a shell appears on the mirror's surface. An illusionary fog is released, and Takasugi's reiatsu presence is completely hidden. However, he can still be heard, smelled, touched, and seen at close distances. For instance, the sound of the scythes and the chain can still be clearly heard. Requires a large amount of reiatsu.
3)Baekho: A silver tiger appears on the mirror. The scythe blades are heated so that the slightest touch to the flesh causes a burn. Requires little reiatsu.
4)Cheong-Ryoung: A blue dragon appears on the mirror. The scythe blades become individual dragon heads that will seek out the opponent on their own, and what they sense is conveyed through the mirror.
5)The 3-Legged Bird: What appears to be a three legged phoenix glows gold on the mirror's surface briefly before shattering. The mirror shards will reform into a type of armor on Takasugi, and the scythes/chains will run from on top of his arms. He can actually move in this form. However, there is 100% of passing out and being in a coma for at least two days after using this technique, and there is a time limit of up to five minutes depending on how much reiatsu he had left.
Bankai Weaknesses
Takasugi cannot move once he enters the bankai state, with the exception of Spell 5. He might be able to walk a step or two, but it is impossible to run in this state.
Spell 5 has a tiny time limit. And will eat up any reiatsu he has left. He might be able to make 5 minutes if he goes directly into Spell 5 with full reiatsu. Might.
The scythes are ridiculously fast, and the mirror is a perfect shield, but if the opponent dodges the scythes and gets an unguarded side, they will be able to attack a weaponless Takasugi. The mirror can only guard one side at a time, after all. Furthermore, the scythes are fast in shooting out, but they are attached by one chain, so the range can run out. Also, due to their huge size, if they get stuck in the ground, it will take some time for them to get out.
Kidō: (More will be added with hopefully future promotions. He's good with kidō.
Bakudō:
#1: Sai (塞, Restrain) — Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
#4: Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) — An energy rope entangles a target's arms.
#8: Seki (斥, Repulse) - Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
#9: Geki (撃, Strike) — Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
-Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!"
Hadō:
#4: Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) — The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.

Bio: Was probably killed sometime before the end of WWII. He can't remember his past all too well, but the images of binding, tents, syringes and surgical instruments suggest that Takasugi was taken to a Japanese human experimentation unit by mistake and killed.
When he arrived to Rukongai, he was around 18 years old. He spent the next few decades (because nobody looks their age in Bleach, right) running around in the higher level districts stealing and developing his feeble reiatsu. After Takasugi found that he had gained a knack for (sloppily) healing his own wounds, he finally decided to take the Academy Entrance Exams, and passed.
His grades and marks were above average, but his swordsmanship's actually the worst out of his Hakudo, kendo, and Kidou abilities. Takasugi has a natural feel to Kidou, and his Hakudo skills came from the first half of his life in Rukongai-(cheap swords break easily..). He's extremely skilled at fighting with his released zanpakutou, but quite honestly... Takasugi SUCKS at standard kendo.
