The Menos Forrest was one of the more interesting sites in the Hueco Mundo. It is simply astounding how so many Hollows, most of which would turn and eat each other, would live so closely together. And with all these potential threats, it was odd that Larisa found the place to be peaceful. She tended to stay on the rocky outcrops, up higher than the Menos. Her reiatsu kept the Adjucas and the would-be-Arrancar away. But she wouldn't care if they did come along, a quick death would be dealt to those to try and kill her. Up on the rocky outcrop, Larisa turned away from looking down onto the forest. She had to begin what she came here for. With a deep breath, she took her swords off the hooks on her belt: left in the right, right in the left. Bringing them in front of her, they were positioned over each other. Another deep breath. Larisa then moved her head, looking to the right, extending her right arm up and straight to the right, blade down, her left arm up and bent above her, blade up. Her right leg slid out and bent her knee. Another deep breath. Larisa lept forward and stuck the air. Her practice begun, for now long, she wouldn't know. Hopefully, no one would show up.

Hours passed as Larisa moved in a fluid, yet, mechanical motion. It would be hypnotizing if one were to just stop and stare. But it was now over, quickly jolting to a stop mid swing. Quickly, she replaced the blades onto the hooks on the back of her waist, blades down and sticking out to the sides. Quickly, she looked away and up to the ceiling. Raising her hand, a ball of helically fluctuating orange and white energy appeared, then shot towards the ceiling, the Cero blowing a hole in the sand roof. Quickly, she flew up through it and back towards Los Noches. She was needed else where.

Larisa looked around under the sands for some time before she found her ridge again. It wasn't a very obtrusive one, not helping her find it, but it would keep others from going to it as often. There were two other Hollows there, sadly, but they would quickly move away as her aura would grow as she got closer. Oddly enough, the two Hollows simply stayed where they were, seeming to turn and wait for the energy they sensed to arrive. They looked like they were hungry and considered a Larisa an easy meal. Oh how they were wrong. When Larisa was within 30 feet, the two of them used Sonido and appeared at her side and attempted to strike her. With her hands raised, her swords flew from their holsters and struck each of the Hollows' arms. They were blocked and then the swords moved and cut through their bodies, each dissipating into nothing. With her spot now cleared, she moved down and began to meditate for some hours on end.

 YAMIMARU Sengo
The Garganta split open, as if space were being torn in the air itself. Not like the clean and precise ones that Arrancar used, but more like one used by a hollow. Yamiamru' hands pulled the gate open wide as he stepped out into the dark and silent forest. The hole in the air slammed shut behind the Captain. With a creepish grin on his face, he began to pace his steps through the forest. His high shoes caused tremendous echo in the silence. He condensed his energy to his body, creating a powerful force that flowed outward from his body, making it hard for anything to come into contact with his body.
"Well, Kuro-chan, what do you think of this place?" He questioned out loud, seemingly speaking to the air. then suddenly, a shadowy energy seeped from the sheath of his sword and quickly formed the body of a beautiful and mature young woman. Kurogake's body glistened, her dark skin seeming to glow without even the slightest bit of light."Well, it seems a lot like my home. The dark is easily seen through, due to the fact that I live in your lightless soul. Why are we here again anyway?" She questioned in honest curiosity. Her master lifted his head and began to survey the area with intent. "I'm here on a collection mission. I need to find a way to capture a Gillian and trap it within my laboratory. The shoddy hollows that I've been using are too weak. I need to use a being that is a conglomerate of numerous hollow spirits, for that creature will be able to withstand the torture of being re-shaped into a new entity." His voice was sly as he conversed with his most trusted servant about the mechanics and intricacies of his reasons and thoughts.
They talked for an exceedingly long time before being alerted a powerful presence. This disturbance caused both Yamimaru and Kurokage to halt in their tracks. Yamimaru stood still while Kurokage quickly burst into a mess of Dark colored energy and began to circle around her wielder.

Larisa had stayed at her spot for some hours now. She was on and off practicing and resting, though more practicing was done resting. It was calming to her, though she was always calm. Normal routine was her action of choice. But it was sadly interrupted when she felt a strong force within the forest. Normally, no one need worry as it was most likely just a Menos or Gillian achieving it's next level of power. But this was different. It was a malicious energy, but it wasn't Hollow. Now was the signal to leave, to return back to Los Noches and inform the others. Rather then using Sonido, Larisa floated skywards and out of the forest, using no traceable amount of energy what-so-ever.

YAMIMARU Sengo Yamimaru was aware of the presence that had detected him, but payed the Arrancar no mind. He would be gone long before any of the hollow abominations could reach him. He was busy swinging a large thread of dark energy around the body of a Gillian. It screamed and writhed under the pain that was inflicted upon its body as Kurokage constricted it. The mass of dark energy began to close around the Gillian and slow its movements. "Good job Kuro-chan. Now hold him like that, we'll be back at the lab in no time." He spoke to her spirit in a kind tone, beginning to charge his energy into his hands. It would take a lot of willpower and concentration to teleport such a massive being back to the lab and i nto the holding container.
Black reiatsu flowed and whirled around Yamimaru wildly as his hands touched the Gillian. "Uugha!" The captain scientist belted loudly as he used the space jump, a large area technique developed through years of training his unique warping abilities. With a burst of black energy and purple glistenings, the two beings vanished, and no trace was left of them.

Zarrik strode unchallenged into the Menos Forest. His foots still fell silent on the ground as he searched for high level opponents. He didn't need to but he drew his blade and used his left eye to dig out the general direction of high level Menos. To his right seemed to be a large group of acceptable prey and he leaped into the tall pillars to hunt them down, making his reiatsu appear small and weak to draw the ever-ravenous creatures into attacking him.
Not four minutes later several large, long-nosed, becloaked Hollows swarmed out of hiding and fell on him.

The mass of Menos Grande would have been a formidable force for another, but Zarrik had spent most of this existence mercilessly hunting down Hollows and Shinigami of every level, save for the captains of the sereitei. And the first wave of this small pack of Menos were quickly dispatched with several wide, calculated swings. Others, more experienced menos, stood back to allow the weaker beings to be destroyed, then fired their cero's simultaneously in a large semi-circle towards where Zarrik was standing.
This attack en masse technique was predicted and easy to avoid, even though it destroyed many of the tree like structures dominating the scenery of the Forest. His strategy for dispatching the stronger Hollows was simple but effective. Evade and attack. Guerrilla warfare was a specialty of his and to the extent of his knowledge, unpracticed by most of the Espada and other Arrancar. This training session would be quick and easy, if it all went according to plan, which almost nothing ever did.

Killing the last of the Menos, Zarrik felt stronger as he absorbed the dissolving Reishi of the defeated Hollows. Sensing no further Menos of appealing strength nearby, so he decided to embark further into the underground forest.
(( I dont know if thats an appropriate way to attain energy and power, if its not alright tell me and I'll edit the post. Since no ones telling me the minimum post limit for attaining Resurreccion, so I'll assume it's ten))

Zarrik leaped from branch to branch as he headed for another concentration of high level Reiatsu. The spiritual pressure was different from a menos, probably Gillians or Vasto Lordes. His strategy of attack began to formulate as he drew Gustave and prepared for battle.
The ring of Gillians sat around a small fire talking of where to go next when Zarrik sonidoed past, slashing the back of one and killing him instantly. His large agile form slipped into the shadows to plan his next attack. The gillians watched as their companion's life was extinguished and his power added to an invisible enemy. Instantly they circled, old west wagon style.

There was an intricate path from Mother's home to the Forest of menos, it was filled with nothing shy of pure destruction. Bodies of hollows slowly decomposing as they had made the mistake to step in front of the angered Segunda. He was also making sure to devour the souls of the lesser spirits no matter how weak they were. He needed the strength of thousands to increase his current self, he would take every last soul he could and then he would make mother eat those words and her mannerisms. He would destroy everything everything that stood in his path and eventually her.
As he entered the grounds he noticed low activity and could feel the waning spiritual pressure of death. He was quite pissed now that not only had his leader rejected him but now he couldn't even vent his anger on the spirits of those he was better than. Feeling there pressure deeper he followed the trail until he saw them, a large number of gillians but two adjunchas were hiding in the midst and it felt like the new numero was hiding. Pulling out Dospeli he spun it around a few times before sending it flying into the group, very efficiently it ripped through them leaving them just alive enough to drain them of their strength and absorb their energies.
"Numero, do you want strengh? Do you want to feel the world crush beneath the heel of your foot?" His voice was loud as the hollows focused on him.

The segunda had taken his prey and called him out. He was not happy, that much was clear to Zarrik and he couldn't ignore an Espada. Stepping out from his perch on a thick branch, his deep voice rang out.
"And what if I do? Will you help and then betray me as you attempt so very much against Mother?" His arms were crossed against his chest, the muscles taught as he asked questions of Viajero. "I came here to achieve Resurreccion and return to Las Noches to claim an Espada's chair. I have no quarrel with you, Segunda, and I will not help you betray Mother, for I am pledged to her. I'll not stand in your path to strength and power, but you'll have to defeat Mother yourself. When next we meet..." With his bit done, Zarrik left quickly, heading towards another concentration of Gillians.
This time it was three large Adjuchas, one walking in front of the other two. Another easy target or so he assumed. The larger three were cover for several smaller Gillians, of all shapes and sizes. More of a challenge, but not impossible. He followed and watched them progress. Several different plans of attacks formulated as he followed the procession.

His strategy was simple; fast, accurate and powerfull Cero attacks, and lots of them. Using Sonido, Zarrik flashed in and out of the air above the Adjucha Convoy, flinging two large gray Ceros at the large Jellyfish-like Adjuchas with every leap. The three fell under the barrage and their energies devoured by their murderer. Almost all of the smaller Adjuchas scattered as the largest died. His plan continued as the hunt continued.
As Zarrik persued the fleeing Hollows he took notice of slight changes to his body. The ridges on his eyebrows and forehead were more pronounced, his skin was thicker, darker, rougher and felt like... scales.

As he hunted and consumed the fleeing Adjuchas, Zarrik's body changed even more. A medium sized Gorrilla-esche Gillian brought his legs together to form an awkward tail. Laying on the ground in a slightly weakened state, a few Adjuchas took a chance and attacked him. Only to die as they drew close at the end of his sword. Their souls developed the rest of his tail, so he could rise and continue forward.
