Hey! I'm gonna make this sticky topic thingy for everyone to post what kind of camera(s) they have/use to do most of their photography, & if possible, a picture!
Also, this topic will be a way for us to get to know each other. If you want to, post your actual name &/or age, location, or any other info you want us to know.

Hi.
I'm Dusty.
I have had a Canon D30 for about a year. Before that I used a point and shoot digital (don't remember the model!). I love traveling and taking pictures, so I have photos from all over the US, plus Bermuda, Greece, and London. It's fun to look back on them later.
I'm glad the guild is getting busy! Looking forward to learning more about everyone.

duh...
and i use a i use a Panasonic model DMC-FZ28
it's point and shoot so, yeah i know, its beast.
and im 15 and idk photograohy is cool and i usually take weird pictures
im not all that into normality in pictures
an im not a fan of taking pictures of people in a normal way ya kno?
and surprising or not im way new to photography
i started about 5-6 months ago

uhm... Im Amber... Ive been using a Canon D30 for a while... BUT I got my own Canon Rebel 300D over the summer... Im also pretty new to GOOD photography, although my dad claims I started taking pictures when I was about 3... O.o my first camera was blue, red & plastic with 2 handles so I wouldnt drop it XD
Mmmm... I love traveling & taking pics (obviously since I started a photography guild)... Ive been to lots of states in the US, & went to Panama last summer, so I have lots of photos from out-of-state :]

Hello I'm Tessa but I prefer Tazzi.
I use many cameras but the two I use the most are my two Canons.
I have a film Canon and a digital Canon Rebel XTi.
I love them both.
I really want to travel more and go to places like New York City so I can do more people photography.
And other then that I don't know what to say.

I first used a Nikon Coolpix which took decent macros and I have had a Nikon D60 since March-ish, and I love it to pieces whee . I'm a 19 year old girl living in the Netherlands. I recently got into 'serious' photography, about 2 months ago really. Before that, I enjoyed taking pictures, but not as much as I do now. I used a point and shoot camera ( Sony Cybershot DSC-T10), but that one kinda got dropped a lot so I kinda broke it. This made me really step over to my lovely Olympus E-510. It's one of the lightest DSLRs on the market, and it's got very good image quality! Plus, I LOVE the 'live view' mode, I don't have to squint my eye through a tiny hole to see what I'm taking a picture of! I got it for a super deal too, only about 500 dollars (it was 370 euros for me), for two lenses, filters and an extra battery (bought it used on the internet). Anyways, I take pictures with my boyfriend all the time. We go out on walks frequently to shoot pictures, but we've been hanging around in the same places for too long, so we're kinda scouting for more places. So right now I'm just staging pictures in my photostudio at home and taking pictures. Beats having to look for new places to photograph D:

Hey. I'm Caitlyn and I am 17 years old. I started using Kodak Film cameras..but that was when I was 6 . I then got my first digital Kodak camera at 13 years old..it wasn't great but it was okay. Then I got a temporary job when I was 15 and I bought myself a better Kodak. It was good but then it became super slow..I went to some party and some douche[sorry for the language] stole it. I went camera hunting and fell in love with a Cannon SD880. It was like $300 and I didn't have money. And then my mom got it for me for xmas.
I love my Cannon.

Hi everyone. :] My name is Tia, I'm 16 years old, and I live in the upper Midwest.
My camera model is a Canon Powershot SX100-IS. It's a point and shoot but it's all I could get my dad to pay for. It's supposed to be the family's camera... but everyone knows it's mine. <3 If I had the funds, I would get a better camera.
I started taking the more artsy pictures when we got our camera last year. For about a half a year before that time, I had this need to take pictures... like, I would imagine a photo in the winter scenery. When we got the camera I was immediately taking pictures.
My favorite kinds of photography are animals, landscapes, and foliage. I absolutely love macro and artsy shots. Right now I'm trying to break out of that box and take more photos of people and such. n_n

hello!
you can call me pocket (or lauren, if you prefer my name name name) and i am seventeen.
i have six cameras, but you will only be seeing pictures from one of them until i become less lazy and feel like using a scanner.
my digital camera is a kodak easy share z650. i wish i had a very nice digital slr camera. hopefully i will get one for christmas.
i prefer manually zooming and focusing my pictures.
my film cameras include:
lomography fisheye, holga, and action sampler
polaroid instant film of some variety
and a nikon n4004s.
the nikon is not telephoto. i also wish i had a telephoto lense.
and a macro lense would be cool.
i have been taking pictures for a fairly long time, albeit they weren't decent until recently.
i am going to guess and say i started around age ten.
i like taking spontaneous pictures of people and city life the most, although, i don't have much proof of that. small towns are poop.
macro is very cool.
etc etc.

whee Hi, I'm Tiffany, Tiffie, Tiff, Tiffa ect... I'm 17 and live in the U.S.
somewhere.
My camera isn't that great so I don't really need to mention it.
I don't really do photography that much and I'm not that great at it.
Its just a hobbie. I'm still newish and working on getting a better camera
anyways... hm... what else...what else? I like the
word stellar and hm... well there really isn't anything else :] whee

Hey, I'm Mikel, Mike, Michael etc.
born in the Philippines and moved to United Kingdom in the age of 10/11 years old.
The camera i use is sony alpha a350 my very first DSLR.
I don't really do photography however i did some sessions during my art course in college so i had some little experiece. I'm more into graphics/digital art, fine-art and illustration.
I'm a sort of person who takes photographs of everything i see and collects thousands of images; well the reason for that is used them as primary sources which can be handy.
I tend to manipulate photographs by hand and digital. i experiment as much as i can until im satisfy.
Mwahaha, good thing i bought a portable harddrrive very handy.

Hi!
My name is Erika, I'm 19 and I'm from Canada (Quebec to be more precise, which means that I speak French). I'm a Graphic Design student. I've just finished college and I'm about to enter university.
I started being interested in photography in college because we had photography classes ever since the first semester and I totally loved it. I mostly do landscape/urban photography because it's easier when you're alone but I love doing portraits too.
I currently own a Canon Rebel XTi, which I love (although I still need to get more equipment... like a tripod so that I could stop borrowing my father's xd ). However, I started doing photography with a 35mm Minolta X-700 and that was amazing too, although it was much less practical than a digital camera.
I'm the sort of person who likes taking photographs of everything and since I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world (in my opinion), that's an endless source of inspiration for me biggrin
