The Epi wasn't GREAT or anything, no. But next gen fanfics make up for it.

I have mixed feelings about the Harry Potter movies. It's nice seeing the most epic scenes of HP on the big screen set to awesome music. But at the same time it miffs me when they leave out or completely change certain details.

i love the movies personally, but then again i always consider movies to be totally separate, yet equal, to the corresponding books. after all they are totally different media with different standards and constraints.

i'm actually thinking pretty heavily about cosplaying as harry for Geek.Kon or maybe another con depending on my schedule.

I agree, and I haven't even gotten around to reading the 7th book yet. Well, I actually have a misprint of the hardcover, so I went out and bought the book on CD back then. I was going to listen to it, then I got caught up in reading the history of D&D and Robert A. Monroe's Journeys Out of the Body. I'll get to it some time. I didn't really care for the 6th movie. Just not enough action to go with all that dialogue.

The movies are alright though in all honesty I kinda prefer most of the books in the series.
