The Tattoo
Fu (Foo) Lions, lions of Buddha, or sometimes stone lions (石獅, Pinyin: Shíshī) in Chinese art[1], are a common representation of the lion in pre-modern China, which is believed to have powerful mythic protective powers that has traditionally stood in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, temples, emperors' tombs, government offices, and the homes of government officials and the wealthy from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD), until the end of the empire in 1911. Lions of Fo are always created in pairs, with the male playing with a ball and the female with a cub. They occur in many types of Chinese pottery and in Western imitations[2]. Pairs of Chinese guardian lions, also called Chinese stone lions are still common decorative and symbolic elements at the entrances to restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and other structures, with one sitting on each side of the entrance, in China and in other places around the world where the Chinese people have immigrated and settled, especially in local Chinatowns.
~*~
The actual tattoo will be more flowing, with the lions looking much more realistic and imposing then in the traditional statues. Typically, most Fu Lion tattoos are done this way. The male lion, to be placed on the left side of his upper chest, will be deep red, golden yellow, and have aquamarine eyes. The female lion, to be placed in an identical pose, though seeming to be a horizontally flipped image, will be deep blues and lialics, with shining golden eyes. Their design will be similar to the popular Fu Lion tattoo design, like the image below.
The female lion, of course, will have a red Fu Lion cub with her, instead of the blue sphere the male holds.

The Children
 |name| Chow Shi/Shi Chow |species| Ink Children |gender| Male/Female |height| As children, the two seem rather stocky and short, but once they hit puberty, both have a large growth spurt, and become very tall, broad and imposing. |weight| Unusually heavy for their age, their entire lives.
|eyes| Both have startlingly round eyes, rimmed with black. Tiny pupils and very large iris that seem to take up the entire eye. Shi has vivid, golden/yellow eyes, Chow has bright teal blue eyes. |hair| (indescribable style) Shi has very dark blue hair, while Chow has deep, burnt-red hair. |skin| Shi has deep blue skin, with some darker and lighter markings on her hands, feet and face. Chow has bold red skin, with yellow and deep red markings. As they get older, these markings are likely to become more obvious and complicated. |clothes| |other|
