I tend to over think a LOT of things...karate has taught me that sometimes It's WAY better to react and then reflect.
For example: Guy jumps you...you defend and break his nose...then you reflect as to how youre going to explain to the cops why you followed up the nose break with a ball shot, and a breath taking blow to the solar plexus...then knocked him out with a chop to the carotid artery! (My instructor is a defense attorney...this is kind of a running joke)

I have that sketch on DVD for this show called In Living Color. Think Mad TV, but with better comedians. And yes, that is a prime example of why you want to do research because you may end up in a McDojo.

Yeah, I recognized it as an In Living Color skit, but I don't think I'd seen that particular one. When I was a kid my family watched it together...could account for my sense of humor... lol

DesiBuu Yeah, I recognized it as an In Living Color skit, but I don't think I'd seen that particular one. When I was a kid my family watched it together...could account for my sense of humor... lol I only remember In Living Color because they used to show re-runs on FX when FX first came out, which was about 10 yrs ago.
