This has been a topic of discussion for awhile. Gracchvs brought up the amount of stickies that were outdated. I took care of that today because I too agree that Gracchvs and I do believe a overall consensus of you too is that we should start revamping NCS and possibly NCS Community.
To get started Im editing the Banners and working on having them all linked to NCS guild for recruiting and updating the communist links archive we have.
I deleted some Stickies such as Fighting together.. this is because we all know what our battle ground is and has been for the past 3-4 years... its mainly ED-P or ED if your consistent you should always see a socialist thread up or a thread about a Communist state since of course.
I want to talk about major changes such as:
New Front Picture for NCS and possible NCS Community
Additions to Mission Statement in front Page
New Banners for Both NCS and possible NCS Community
Elections need to be done as well. Seeing as none of the other councils really go anywhere its basically going to be guild ownership/modship but thats my opinion if you wish for other councils to be in an election race then thats fine.. I just find that other councils just fall apart and that the most successful is what you see now.
Im going to call (motion) for elections in how about the the 4th August which is a month from today. They have been asked for and I believe thats a good time to have them if you wish to discuss the dates such as changing them closer or farther away then go right on ahead nothing is set in stone.

I woke up and was like "WTF? No stickies? Well, the place sure does look less cluttered now!" So yeah, the place looks a lot better. I think the time for elections is good (also: lol@4h of august) So will that be the beginning of elections? How long will the last for, a week?

Louis-Auguste Robespierre I woke up and was like "WTF? No stickies? Well, the place sure does look less cluttered now!" So yeah, the place looks a lot better. I think the time for elections is good (also: lol@4h of august) So will that be the beginning of elections? How long will the last for, a week? I was going to say a week or two we've done both so it really depends upon what we feel like its open vote tho no secret ballot

SoViEtTaNkT34 its open vote tho no secret ballot Yes, just like old times: you post with your votes. Also, the last vote I was in (way back in 2006) we had the thing where you made 5 votes. I was wondering if we were gonna do that (but reduce it to 3) or some other system?

I think that the following month should be 'registration month' where people register to vote by posting five (5) serious posts in more than one thread throughout the following month.

We could do a simple vote after a submission date as far as banners and logo in the top right goes - the only reason I didn't do much to change the stuff is because I never familiarized myself with the system lol.
I really like the one kurt has come up with - and the modifications made by Rob as well.
Another thing we need to do is expand the words we're tag listed under so that we come up on searches for things like "communist" "socialist" and "marxist" so we don't run into a GCP type problem again
