I always get ripped off. =(
And I'm usually too shy to ask to come into someone's town.
It's Saturday, and Nook's buying for a lousy 47 Bells. Down from 57, this morning. The highest he was offering all week was only 20 bells more per turnip than I had paid.
I make more money fishing and shaking trees than I do with turnips. gonk
...I'm gonna generate a random number between 1 and 600. It'll probably be more than he pays. crying

In the main forum there is a sticky about turnips, how Nooks prices act each day, this may help you figure out how to "beat the system". I find it helpful to pay attention to his prices for a week before buying turnips, to make sure that I buy on a week of high buy-backs. 3nodding

How do you judge whether or not the next week will pay well?
Do his prices always follow the same cycle? (For instance, last week was "The Cliff" and this week seems to be "The Decreasing Pattern"; Does this mean that next week will be "The Mountain?") Or is it completely up to chance which pattern prices will follow from week to week?
I said I was going to stop, but I do want to make money. =( So, a month later, I'm asking more questions. XD

o.0 Now I'm thinking that last week might have just been a Hill oddity, and this week might be The Cliff.
Prices shot up overnight...but still aren't worth mentioning on the Turnips page. Juuuuuust over 100.

I have never seen the same cycle happen two weeks in a row, but I don't really think about it a week in ahead anyways >< You just have to take your chances and buy turnips on Sunday and then by Wednesday you should know which cycle is happening, and use that info to just whether you will buy on Thursday or try to find another town to go to.
