Story

Miku Yamada has a longtime crush on classmate Kyohei Fujioka. But no matter how many times she tries to show him how she feels, clueless Kyohei just doesn't get it. Frustrated, Miku gives up on him, only to have him start calling her "Cactus" for being prickly when he's around. Will Kyohei ever figure out Cactus's secret?

Nana Haruta debuted in 2000 with Ai no e Ai no Shirushi (Love's e, Love's Symbol) in Ribon Original magazine. She was born in Niigata Prefecture and likes reading manga and taking baths. Her other works include Love Berrish! and Chocolate Cosmos. Her current series, Stardust Wink, is serialized in Ribon magazine.

Miku decides to try telling Kyohei her feelings by giving him chocolates for Valentine's Day. But Kyohei, unaware that he's the object of her affection, offers himself up as a practice partner for her love confession. Can Miku get through to him that he's the one she loves?

Now that Kyohei knows Miku likes him, he's turned her down! But Miku isn't going to give up easily. However, Student Council President Itsuki Natsukawa witnesses Miku's rejection by Kyohei and takes matters into his own hands.

Here's a summary from Baka-Updates Manga: "Miku has secretly been in love with a person who never notices anything unless it smacks him in the face! This dumb guy is called Fujioka by his peers. Whenever she tries to confess, he doesn’t believe her or else he changes the mood of the conversation! Miku has done everything to get herself noticed by him, even change her appearance completely! But according to him, she’s just a cactus alien! But it seems there’s more to Fujioka than what meets everyone’s eye…"

I'm personally pretty darn excited, since her art is just adorable!! I hope this series sells fairly well so that we can get more of her stuff. : D
