Hi post all your ideas for the guild here. Anything goes! If you are being inspiring enough, who knows? Maybe you could be a crew member... or maybe even VICE CAPTAIN!

So post like crazy! And remember for the time being we are focused on the RP part.

i vote for list, since i know i have no clue how to code anything but html pages sweatdrop and a map might be a bit confusing unless its properly labelled, in which case the text might get in the way and mess with everything.
also, non rp thing(i think) i think we should, FOR SURE have a safari zome, if we already dont, and possibly things like tms/hms and like, you need a certain badge to catch a certain pokemon, i.e. you need the 8th badge to catch articuno or something like that.

this is, all assuming we dont already have this.
oh, and advertising on zomg!. that might help membership. 3nodding

I'm good at coding, sorta.... Would you like me to work on it? Um.... I know how to make words into links. And d I'm sure images are sorta the same way... And I could aways look it up, but if you want images on top of images, that's gonna be complicated.

Umm i think we might go with the list for now. Considering that we might need some coding specialist or something to make images blend intro other images but only have... you know what we`re going for the list idea for now^^

Any other ideas my creative companions??

Oh and read the "New trainers read this" post and come with any corrections or ideas. Im having temporary issues with the internet but i will be on from time to time so no worries^^ Will be over soon.

inter-connectivity. actually i dont know if thats the term for it sweatdrop
but any ways, like, after you get a certain number of badges you can go to other regions to catch other pokemon and do other pokemon leauges, but only badges from a said region work for that pokemon leauge.

that and possible "whos that pokemon" contests where theres like a picture like in the show, or just describing it, and the winner gets a small prize.

and pokemon drops!
like for example say a spearow has a very common drop of nothing, common drop of nothing, a rare drop of a berry, and a super rare drop of a pokeball(why it has a pokeball is beyond me xp ) so after you win you roll a random number between 1-100, 1-50 being very common 51-85 being common, 86-96 being rare, and 97-100 being super rare


and special pokeballs like in gold/silver/crystal and beyond.
like the heavy ball for pokemon like snorlax, and the nest ball for pokemon like yanma.

oh! and we could get someone good at gif's or something and make a banner like one of the game intros or like a pokemon battle or somethin!

and like, a limit on legendarys of 1 per person so we dont end up with a team like
groudon
lugia
ho-oh
suicune
mewtwo
zapdos

cuz that would be just too cheap!

and wes hould have rivals that we face every now and then like in the games!

and we need to figure out what to do with the type gap. i.e. in blue magnemite was purely electric, and thus was awesome almost all around, but in later games it was steel/electric and then weak to fire, so do we go with original, or newer, or type changes with region, or what?

and pokemon special abilities.
once again using magnemite, it has levitate so ground attacks dont work.
so do we keep such things, or lose em all together?

and we need a prize for beating the elite four.


and different move strengths so like
wheezing has an attack of 89
it has -tackle, smog(also we need status effects), explosion, and leer.
tackle should not equal explosion, sowe have say tackle had damage of 10 and explosion 250 or somethin like that
so wheezing uses tackle and its 10+89=99 for a max instead of just 89.

Keep drinking your coffe good friend because this is just great! But what do you mean by the wheezing thing?

Like it has an attack of 15 means it ads on to the original attack strenght or? If thats what you mean then i understand.

Since we can't do two dice rolls in one turn, it would have to work like this.

For attacks like Smog and Water Pulse I have an idea like this.
You do what you would normally do and do the whole dice roll or number generating and get your attack damage.
Then you would post another saying "Poison from Smog" or "Confusion from Water Pulse" and generate another number or roll another die. We could choose numbers between 1-100 for the likeliness of each condition. Like Water Pulse has an 85 percent chance of confusing the opponent. If you get 1-85, your opponent's confused. If you get above 85, it's not.

I think we should have abilities for only the regions they are actually in, Hoenn and Sinnoh. As well as types. We'll just make different trainers for different regions. The whole carrying over thing is bad because we would have strong Pokemon for weaker parts...

yes indeed.
all physcal attacks deal with the attacks power+pokemons attack
also all nonphysical attacks (such as psychic for example) use special(assuming we include that)
also, explosion was a bad exampleXD i dont know what it counts as:p

i like your ideas:p
maybe we could like, only be able to enter another area if we only have a pokemon of lv5 or lower. and then once we get one from that region only pokemon from that region could be used there.
like as in caught there not just available there.

DISREGARD MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT!!!!:p
im pretty much gonna pop in whenever i have an idea so ill be in and out alot:p

ANYWAYS...
new ideas
1)certain pokemon have certain catch rates.
weak pokemon and common pokemon have better rates
strong/rare have lower catch rates
2)based upon the number of badges you have you can get a catch BONUS!!!!!!!
1 point less needed to catch per badge biggrin
or somethin like that. maybe thats too much...
maybe like .5 per badge so for every two badges you get an effect
3)status effect helpers!!!!!!!!like sleep adds 2 two the catchability but poison does nothing because really? poison dont help you catch stuff, its already radd nough in and of itself anyway!:p
GO POISON!!!
4)if you have a bunch of a certain type you get better rates!
i.e.
i have 5 water pokemon. i want to catch a staru.
because of my 5 waters, i get a plus .2 for each giving me a plus 1 total! biggrin biggrin biggrin
5)this only works if ALL your pokemon are the same type.
water/ice counts for both water and ice!
same for other doubles!
6)if you have 5 fire, and go to catch a staru, you get .3 for each because theyre weak against water. so you get a 1.5!!!!!!! WHEEEEEEEE!!
