What would your favorite one line jokes and funny catch phrases from games be? Do mention when the tone of voice or accent play a role in the humorous nature of the phrase.
Team Fortress Two has managed to give me plethora to choose from, but the best would have to be.
*in a heavy Russian accent* Look at all you itsy bitsy little men RUNNING from sandvich!.

Duke Nukem is a never ending source of amazing lines.

Lol, agreed, however it seems we have seen the last of poor Duke. RIP I pray that this is not true. Duke Nukem Forever NEEDS to happen. Another great line is, "You were almost a Jill sandwich" said by Barry after he rescues Jill from a room where the ceiling is lowering on her in RE1. That line is just one of the reasons why I love Resident Evil

HAHAHA! Thanks for reminding me about that one, oh its so obvious and so cheesy, but Capcom made it work. I like the way they even managed to make it palatable in the Remake for the Game Cube. "A couple more minutes in there and you would have fit nicely into a sandwich".

I don't think they should have changed the lines or the voice acting in the remake (which I never played) They're part of what adds to the charm of those classic games.

You really should play it sometime, its a great laugh, its one of those rare occasions where the remake is actually better than the original, its very faithful, but contains an abundance of new scares, and old ones remastered wink

No need, Capcom love it so much they've just re-released the remake for the Wii, or if you don't have a Wii and want a bargin, Game Cubes go from 19 American Dollars upwards on eBay.

ProphitAngell I have a Gamecube and a Wii as I'm a big Nintendo fan, it was more that I didn't want to have to pay for it >.< Haha, its worth the money, trust me, I must have played that game through at least 6 or 7 times, maybe more. See unlike the original, which had 4 endings, one good and one bad for Chris and Jill, this one has several more, each one varying in success depending on who survived (which relates directly to your own in game choices) and weather or not you stopped the infection from spreading away from the mansion. In some endings, your the sole survivor, but you prevented the infection from spreading, others, your entire team survives but the infection spreads anyway, theres a whole load of variety in there, great replay value.

Not to worry, I found an emulator and an ISO through Demonoid. Thank you internet for being made of win. Sounds badass. Can't wait for it to finish. I love the games and need to see them looking shiny and new. On the subject of RE, did you play RE5?

In fact, I did not....yet. I'm a massive fan of 4, and I'm told by many a reputable source that 5 is even better, if a little short. I didn't have enough time to play games last year, too much study to do. So what is your opinion on it?

I didn't have enough time to play games last year, too much study to do. So what is your opinion on it? LEEEOON!!Personally I found RE5 to be a recycle of RE4, except they wore down the creative aspect to its dirty shoes. The inventory concept is ridiculous whereas the one in RE4 was pretty much the dream come true since the beginning of the RE series, and the plot was just pretty much lost on me--I mean, not that it's been lost since RE4, but even more so now. In addition to that, I can't take the characters anymore, personally. Chris is smuggling melons bigger than his head in his biceps and I think Capcom is trying to be cheeky with that tribal chick, Sheva. They did great with the action and it's fun to play, sure, and I love how I have more attack options but it's so nonsensical that even though that seems to be its selling point, I find it to be..what it is. Nonsensical. Sorry to jump into your conversation there. Send me an angry emote or a virtual punch to the face, I probably earned that or a combination of both. I'm an RE fan but 5 just..gave me an aneurysm. crying Save yourself!

I'm an RE fan but 5 just..gave me an aneurysm. crying Save yourself! True story. Found RE5 to suck balls in comparison with RE4. RE4 was at least NEW and DIFFERENT RE5 is a bad copypasta. As already stated the inventory sucked a**, Sheva should have been on the short bus her AI was so bad (though, in my opinion, she was nice eye candy), I found that while in Dead Space I can move AND shoot, but in a game released after it with plenty of time to add it into the game, to be a huge disappointmant. RE5's story ******** - and I mean ******** - the storyline for the entire series. RE4 set them up to go somewhere with Las Plagas, but they just didn't. They need to hit the reset button and start the series over again. Favorite line in that game, "CHRIIIIISSS!!!"
