Kaija McArthur/ Pyra's room Pyra's room has a metal twin size bed in the middle of the far wall of the room. A window sits just above the head board and extends to the entire bed width. A metal bookshelf sits to the right of the bed and a stone floor lamp sit's on it's right. The walls right now are bare and will remain bare until she acquires decor for them She has black sheets, and blanket with Grey pillow cases. These of course are made of anti-flammable materials. The shelves are also bare at this time... To the right of Kaija's bed is a door that leads to her bathroom which is also plain. With a white toilet, white sink and bathtub with a shower. The shower curtain is a plain dark blue until such time where she is able to decorate the bathroom to fit her tastes Dea's Room:

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. After Pyra was dropped off at her room, she flipped the lights on and looked around. It had been a long time since she had a room worth calling her own.
She walked into the bathroom and glanced around, her eyes resting on the mirror. It had been a long time since she looked at herself. Her hair had gotten long, her face, much more hard than the child she used to be. When she lived with her father her face had a soft complexion.
She shook her head. "My how you've grown," she sighed. Her hair had not been brushed or combed in weeks and frankly, it looked like it. "You look human, but we all know what you really are..." Her eyes glanced around the bathroom again before she closed the door so she wouldn't have to look at the mirror.
A box lay on her bed and she flipped the lid open, two sets of clothes were in it. A pair of pj's and a pair of daily ware to replace the old one that she wore. She took them out and placed them in the metal dresser. She looked at the binder of rules and such that she was afraid to touch before.
She stared at the binder for a while before moving her gloved hand towards it and then pulling it back. Her face flinched as she forced her hand to touch it. She touched it for a second without it burning. Then she let her hand rest on the papers.
"Some trick," she sighed before taking her pjs and going into the shower... I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. Pyra took a quick shower and slid into her pjs. They consisted of black pants with flames woven through out the fabric and a black t-shirt. She slid on her gloves too, afraid to accidentally touch anything without them.
She went to her bed and sat on the edge, by her foot board for a while reading the information in the binder. She didn't understand it all but she took guesses. I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. After a while of reading the information in the black binder, Pyra began to feel tired and set the binder on the steel bookshelf.
Then she put her hair up in a pony tail before turning off the lights and quickly racing to her bed. The darkness scared her. There many things that she had seen in the dark on her journey here. But now she was here, at the instiute. She was given her own room and a second chance, or perhaps a first chance at living.
"I know I have done a lot wrong," she whispered to the walls. "I know I have done more wrong than I have done...well, I haven't done a thing right." She pulled her covers back and crawled under them. "And I know how I am, I know I have a temper...but I'm going to try. I'm going to try really hard to not let this chance burn to ashes..."
She rested her head on one of the gray pillows and watched the time tick by on the clock. I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. After some time of just laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, Pyra managed to fall asleep.
It was dark outside, on the streets. She didn't know where she was but she knew where she wasn't. She wasn't at the Institute.
There were sirens, blaring in the background, a familiar fire burned in the distance. Feet pounded on the slippery, wet pavement. It had been raining, but the rain had long stopped. She could hear the water running into a nearby street drain.
Somehow, she knew that the fire in the distance was caused by her. There would be people out for her again. But the building on fire was very large. It wasn't one that she had burned before. The lights on the street were also not familiar.
The sirens continued to blare, firefighters, ambulances, police men. Voice shouted, "There it is! Get it!"
Footsteps ran towards her. That's all she was to these humans. They didn't know what she was, they just knew she wasn't human. To them she was an it or a monster. But they wouldn't dare say that again. "It was your last chance, Kaija," a familiar voice said. The voice bleonged to none other than Logan. "You ruined it, you destroyed everyone's hope!"
"You have done the same that you did to me," another voice said. "My little flame...how could you."
The voices, sad and angry continued. The scene changed and she was running down an alley, faces of everyone that she hurt and everyone appeared and forced her to veer from her original path. She kept running and running.
It began to rain again, but it felt so real. The voices and pictures of the past continued, faster and faster. Blaming her, laughing, giving her all the reasons to harm them again.
"Leave me alone," she shouted and sat straight up in her bed. Her breathing was harsh as her eyes, filled with flame glanced around the dark room. She sat, stunned, scared and wet. The spirnkler system was going off and more voices came from outside her door. Students were shouting about the sprinklers. I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

As the girl was shouting, Logan walked in, "Anna Marie, get these kids outta here."
Rouge replied, "Alright, you herd the man. Down the hall out the door and to the from yard. Move it."
Logan went in to Prya's room, "Kaija, WAKE UP!"

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. Pyra woke up with Logan's shouting. Her breathing was rough and her eyes darted around the room, fear was written in her eyes. Her flames were out with the help of the sprinklers and the girl was soaked.
She swallowed a few times and tried to slow her breathing as her eyes rested on Logan. Kids were shouting about the water, some seemed to enjoy it. Footsteps ran down the hall.
Pyra closed her eyes and her breathing started to slow down to a less panicked pace. She looked at the black mark on the wall from her flames and hung her head. She didn't know what to say right now, and she didn't know what to do. It all seemed so real... I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. Pyra stared at Logan for a moment until she was sure that she could speak without fear.
"I...I thought it was real," she mumbled confused. "It felt real...I-I guess I was..."
She paused and glanced back at the dark spot on the wall. She sighed. "I'm sorry, please don't kick me out," she begged, worried that she would be. After all, had she not woken up things could have been a lot worse.
She jumped out of her dampened bed, and slipped on the puddle of water that was on her floor from the sprinklers. "Whoa," she exclaimed On her way down, she grabbed the blanket from her bed and pulled it under her, in case the floor wasn't fire proof, and she knelt with her hands on the blanket, staring at Logan's feet. Feeling slightly embarrassed. I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

Logan sighed, those idiots at that lab really ******** her up, "We don't though people out for the inability to control their actions and powers during a nightmare. If we did, many of us, myself included, would be homeless. However, you are going to be busy tomorrow helping clean this stuff off. Lucky for you, we have a more or less self-cleaning house. As soon as you come outside with me, I'll acitivate the system and it will start drying things off enough for everyone to sleep."

I don't know who I am. I don't know what I am I just know that I'm not human. Pyra looked up at Logan and nodded. The punishment was expected if nothing else. It was only right. She picked herself up slowly from the puddle so that she wouldn't slip again. Not that she already wasn't soaked. She felt weak, but that's what water did to her.
"I'm sorry," she half whispered glancing back at the tainted wall. She didn't want to ruin her chances at living, and so far, she had been doing a really good job at it. More than anything, she was angry with herself for not waking up on her own. She was angry with herself for loosing control in her sleep and wondered if it ever happened before.
She began to walk to the door and away from the sprinklers, the bear that Logan had given her earlier was in her arms and hugged close to her left side. She decided that she would move her bed, away from the water sprinklers and away from the walls. I'm not sure if I want to know I'm not sure that I need to know But the fact just is...I don't know.

Pyra opened the door to her room, the walls looked slightly scorched still. It was the first time that she had seen her room after setting it on fire. Her nose twitched slightly, with frustration. "Yeah," she muttered to herself, telling herself that she had done this and no one else.

Pyra glanced at Logan and nodded. "Yeah...everything's fine," she replied. "I didn't know I did this much damage," she said lightly touching the wall. She realized then that she needed to learn control of her power, in sleep and wide awake. This would include control of her temper, that would be a tough egg to crack.
