Hi, My Name Is: Amaranth Lacosse, Aka Patient 2776
He was a Boy, She was a Girl: female
I am 16, going on 17: 18
Here to Stay: 3-3
Brink of Disaster: slight schizofrenia, depression
It's My Life: Amaranth was never a sociable child. She grew up not necessarily hating the people around her, but certianly prefering to be alone. She always carried a notebook with her. It was her diary. She often spent her days writing and drawing in it, rather than interacting with people. She disliked interacting with people in any way. As she reached the age of eight she began imagining other people in her mind so she would have friends to talk to that didn't have to be real. Eventually, in her mind, these personages became real, and now she talks to them whenever she wants, sometimes even becomes them. They are real to her, and in a way, she wants them to be real to everyone else around her. Her mother and father are rarely home, and because of this, she was able to fall into a deep depression. She tried to kill herself twice - once by slitting her wrists and once by overdosing. Neither worked. Her parents brought her here because they decided they could no longer handle having a child that simply isn't normal. Despite her silence and depression and schizofrenia, Amaranth is a very bright girl who understands a great deal more about society than the average teen, although she rarely shared.
Under My Skin: Amaranth is a very quiet girl with her usual personality, although she has several inner personalities that reveal themselves over time. One of these is a fighter. She's very tough and doesn't take crap from anyone. Another is a giddy child. She's very bubbly and always giggling. However, her dominant personality is depressed, quiet, and a loner. She is caring, however, even if she doesn't show it well.
