Hey, I spent a while looking for one, and I found an amazing site here: Infinite Evolution.

If you're looking for somewhere to play, and you are advanced (they require long posts and well-developed characters) there are a lot of characters still open, like:

Nightcrawler

Jubilee
X-23
Iceman
Cannonball

Sunspot
Rogue and Scarlet Witch (they are in the process of being applied for, however)

Blob

You can also apply with Marvel canons that weren't introduced in evo, and with original characters.
