Well I, for one, would choose:
Hidetoshi- Straight-laced badass who takes no crap from anybody but you
Akinari- His social link was my favorite... He sees life like no one else would and I would love a friend like that.
Yosuke- Standard fun friend with a wonderful deep side.
Ai- My favorite social link of P4, I actually chose the friend path with her on accident because I liked helping her and it felt like she was helping me through the problems I was facing (weird how I'm taking advice from a video game, eh? ******** you)
Kanji- I see him as kind of a younger brother...
Dojima- Perfect older perspective while still respecting my views (my favorite character)
Koh- Sarcastic, trash-talking, and bitchy best friend. Gotta love Koh.
(Sorry if my reasoning was a little one track)

I didn't include the girl I would date in there... Hmmmm..
Most likely Naoto; simply because she'd stop at random times and say "Senpai, I want to know more about you." Quick way to my heart: skip the flirty stuff and go straight to intimacy.

for me, it would be:
Teddie- He is so fun loving and innocent (for the most part)
Yosuke- he would put me in line, and i would put him in line, and he seems like a fun freind.
Chie- she is so hyperactive and full of spirit. she would be one of my choices for a girlfreind.
Naoto- my other choice of a girlfreind. she is very interesting to talk to, and there is rarely a boring moment with her.
Kon- he was a fun social link.
Margaret- a little rough around the edges, but she would have some interesting topics.
Kanji- he is so awesome, he can make you laugh and make you regret it.

Naoto is a great character...though personally hanging out with her wouldn't be great for someone like me.

Pharos- he's just so adorable >w<
Aigis- duh, who wouldn't wanna hang out with a cute robot who wants to fit in?

Yosuke- the perfect best friend (favorite character)
Kanji- he's just so cute, is like a nice brother. teach me how to make dollies! xD
Chie- fun to be with smile
Nanako- a cute little girl, reminds me of my niece
Kitsune- it's a fox! it's not everyday you befriend one biggrin teehee
Naoto- interesting person to talk to, plus I wouldn't mind solving a mystery with her xD
Teddie- he makes me laugh

Personally, I would love to have social links with:
Yosuke, Kanji, Rise, Teddie, Dojima
But strategically, I'd like to add:
Naoto, Margaret
Naoto and Margaret are great of course, but I think its good to have a varied crowd and they're just this side of super useful.

Good question... I can only think of 5 which i would love to have social links:
1.-Chie; shes my favorite reminds me of someone special. heart
2.-Kanji; He's such a badass fighter.
3.-Teddie; He's soo fun to be around.
4.-Aigis; I know she's a robot but she is so cute.
5.-Dojima; He's a detective and I want be one....plus we can always hang out at the local bar xd
